"so far have had it for a week and i love the sound it makes. it gives the car a deeper tone considering its a little 4 banger. noticed a little boost in power but still nothing like an AEM or injen(k&n is the only one for kias) but still worth every penny"

K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit

"I ordered this kit on the web a day before Christmas and recieved it week later, which I'm thankfull already for great customer service.
I assembled it in the house, due to extreme temperatures outside, it took about 30 minutes. Later in the day I installed it in my 2006 3.5 liter high output Dodge Charger, which took another 30 minutes. This car is quick anyway for a V6, however, after the K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit was installed, I could feel the added agresive response from the throttle.
I will write another review on the fuel economy after a few full tanks have been used, so as to be acurate.
Thank you AutoAnything for a great ordering expirience and thank you K&N for an impresive product.
AK from Rhode Island"

"took a while to install, directions were REALLY generic and unspecific. took me and my two brothers. I did it and they stood by to offer their two cents and make sure I didn't screw anything up. Took at LEAST an hour and a half and there were times it didn't seem right, but it works out in the end.
my buddy and I took my mounty out later that night to the country to open it up some. WOW! sounds VERY aggressive (doesn't sound like it's dying when you get up past 4000 rpm's and sounds absolutely jaw-dropping when you gun it), shifted MUCH smoother, throttle response is much more reliable (the extra juice of the v8 doesn't kick in unexpectedly anymore for seemingly no reason when you don't want it to, you give what you get from the throttle), and it loosened up a couple hundred rpm's. it's cold right now so I haven't really checked fuel economy. my cars fuel economy sucks in the cold either way. we had some warm days and it seemed to be getting about 280 miles to the tank instead of 260, but thats a fairly loose estimation."

"Some time ago I added a dual exhaust system to my '05 Magnum. I had heard that the K&N FIPK was worthwhile up-grade for the intake side of the equation.
After shopping around for the best price, I ordered the part from AutoAnything.
I'm very satisfied with my purchase. The engine sounds better, and has a noticably better 'throttle response'.
After the initial fun of hammering on it wears off, I'll check the gas milage. Right now there's no point!"

"Good product, easy to install and makes a noticable difference in performance, at least it seems to. The only thing I was not completely satisfied with was the look. The pictures look good, but in person the look is a little on the cheep side. If looks are NOT important, this is a good product at a good price. If you are looking for some bling under the hood, go with something else, like a chrome or painted unit. K&N does offer higher priced, better looking units. And they do have a very good reputation for quality filters. For me a quality filter and improved performace was most important, so the look, while disapponting, is not an issue."

"I enjoy the added throttle response and throaty sound. Installation was a breeze with well-written and illustrated instructions. I do have to mention though, if you are planning to surprise your husband with one of these, do note that the picture of the air-charger is ALL over the box... surprise ruined... We still love it though."

"Very Loud. Maybe added a little horsepower. Gas mileage went up. Only issue is that it rattles a lot in the engine compartment so I took some hose and made the heat shield hole smaller to stop the filter from moving around. You'll understand if you get one!"

"As many folks have noted, this unit definitely increases engine noise especially at half to wide-open throttle. It sounds, "throatier." More accurately, it sounds like a V8 again. I cannot attest to horsepower gains as the only real way to know if there was an increase is to put the vehicle on a dyno, but I will say that throttle response seems more crisp. There is no longer a, "dead-spot," at 0%-20% throttle. It's also too early for me to mention any improvement in gas mileage; however, one would tend to think that less air restriction equals more air in the cylinder equals less fuel consumption. Take it for what's it worth. Buy your own and formulate your own opinion."
