"Makes the engine growl a little more and I noticed an inmediate change in throtle response. Very easy to install (07 tahoe)in about an hour being careful once you figure out which screw is which. Instructions were good since they have pictures but could be more specific regarding hardware identification."

"I expected more from K&N. The systyem I received was the correct one for my model and year truck but looked to be for another vehicle. It is very ill fitting does not seal under hood hot air from going in the intake. I would definitely not recommend for 2006 Sierra."

"i recently changed plugs & wires as well, plus the new air intake has eliminated the drag i was experiencing before. the car has 65,000+ miles.my other cars are hondas, i am considering a K&N intake for my Accord."

"After an hour of easy installation my Jeep seems to have a little better acceleration but nothing too noticable. Sounds throaty on my inline 6 when at high rpms. Hoping for some fuel milage gains but haven't had time to check. Overall an easy but expensive way to make you feel better about your vehicle."

"Throttle response is increased a bit, but nothing spectacular. No official dyno, but it does not "feel" any stronger than my gutted box setup. VERY easy to install. Sounds much deeper than stock and definitely screams when VTEC kicks in. If you're serious about performance gains, this would NOT be the right intake. If you're just looking for something that's easy to install/maintain and gives better sound, go for any SRI. I only went with this one b/c it was the cheapest I could find. Honestly, I'll probably go back to my prior setup after the winter and sell this one."

"The K&N Typhoon is without a doubt the best intake for the Cobalt. They did their research and it fits correctly unlike every other intake on the market. I wouldn't be surprised if K&N has a better intake for every other application out there. Great Product!"

"First of all, I thought that the included installation instructions read very clear and thorough. Of course having some mechanical aptitude is a big plus. Otherwise, the installation went very well! Then the time came for the first road test. The moment the engine cranked over, I could tell by the cool sound that something sounded powerful. As I made my way down the streets, I really could feel an increase in throttle response and overall performance. The ride on the freeway sealed the deal for me; the ability for my vehicle to achieve cruising speed seemed effortless from before. And not to mention the deeper, throaty resonating sound from the exhaust pipes!! I am very impressed with this item!!"

"I was looking for increased fuel economy but what I got instead was an awesome sound when I accelerate. So far I am getting no increase in fuel economy, but no loss either. I have plenty more power on the Hemi.. This was a good purchase, it would make it a super good purchase when the fuel mileage increases. Barry--- Middletown, NY"

"Exceeded my expectations!! Very noticeable increase in power and torque in high rpm range. My car feels like it has come to life! Don't even know it's there until you push the peddle down and watch the hear the transformation from minivan to sports car! It sounds awesome!! I highly recommend this to anyone regardless of car make or model. I should have installed one a long time ago. Great product!!! I actually feel about 20 years younger when driving now, and I'm 47! "I INSTALLED THIS IN 40 MINS. EASY INSTALL AND THE POWER IS A GREAT IMPROVEMENT. NOT SURE ABOUT THE GAS MILEAGE CAUSE I'M ENJOYING THE POWER WAY TO MUCH. Noticeable Difference

"This is my second K&N FIPK. The first went into a 2004 Mustang. The performance difference was not dramatic, but the sound was nice. This time it went into a honda civic and wow, huge difference. Prior to installing, the engine would not downshift immediately when I hit the gas and then it would surge into gear, revving extremely high. After installing the FIPK, shifting is immediate and smooth without jarring surge. Get up and go is improved as well as a surprisingly satisfying growl for a 4-banger."

"I would definitely recommend the typhoon intake system to others. The installation was reasonably straight forward, and as for power gains, the difference is noticeable on freeway acceleration. My only complaint would be the noise, the intake was a bit noisier than i would have hoped, yet that is just one con among many pros. Thank you K and N for such a great product."

"GOOD PERFORMANCE OUT OF THIS PRODUCT. LOVE IT. ONLY HAD ONE ISSUE, WHEN I INSTALLED IT THERE WERE 4 CALMPS THAT WERE TOO SMALL THE 4 (56) CLAMPS WERE TOO SMALL ALL OF THE CLAMPS NEED TO BE (60). OTHER THEN THAT EVERTHING WAS PERFECT"
