"I would definitely recommend this product. The increase in power is definitely noticeable and as far as i can tell, i think the mpg have gone up too - i haven't filled up in 7 days and i drive a lot. The sound is also very cool when the RPM's get to 3500. Everyone is impressed."

Power but no milage

"I have a 2007 GMC 1500 crew cab. I installed the 63 series a little over a week ago and it made a difference. The sound and response is excellent, but I did loose at least 1 MPG in fuel economy. I am pretty anal about watching my mileage and it definitely went down. As for the installation, I give it a 2 1/2 to a 3. While it was not hard to install, the lack of detailed instruction was not there. I am very handy under the hood and had to stop a few time to study diagrams to see what they were talking about. The kit also had a few incorrect parts. They sent two different size bolts to secure the air box to the frame, and the hose clams for the throttle body are too small (I had to use the old ones that came off) All and all I am satisfied with the product and do recommend it to anyone who want more power and better sound."

"Looks great and sounds great. But steps 6-10 on the provided instruction sheet could not be accomplished because the fipk did not come with the right amount of bolts or the right size. I would recommend K&N to fix this problem that others have stated now along with me. And, I would recommend this product for anyone looking for top performance."

"Well it's been two weeks and heads are still turnin'. The K&N filter FIPK kit went into my 2006 Daytona hemi in about 40 minutes. I took the car out just before, and just after. Incredible!!. I had a second party confirm what I was feeling in the car, and he agrees that there is a noticeable performance increase. Just filled up so I'm not sure if there is a gas milage gain yet, but sense that there might be a bit, but not what may have been claimed. I figure 6-8%. It's hard to gauge though as I'm finding it hard not to listen to the growl so the gas situation may be a few weeks yet once the novelty wears off. Kudo's to Chrysler and K&N for having all the bolt holes correct. Groovy Baby"

"The kit is made of very high quality components. The installation was very easy, just follow the excellent included instructions. The only issue I had, was that they sent 2 hose clamps that were too small. I used the clamps from the parts I took off, so it was a non-issue as far as I am concerned. Not as loud as I thought it might be, only a little louder than stock when you really step on it. Power improved a lot, milage just a little, maybe 1 MPG."

Worth Every Penny!

"Install was slightly more complex than advertised, involving a number of tools (ratchet, nut drivers, assorted screw drivers and wrenches, rubber mallet, foul language, neighbor's cat, kitchen sink) and removing / replacing some mounting bolts for my ABS block. That being said, with the instructions provided it really was no big deal, just more than this engineer is used to doing under the hood. This thing sounds like a beast at WOT and preliminary results seem to indicate an increase in gas mileage as well on my IS300. With all that and a CARB exemption to boot, what more could you want?"

"What a great product! Installation was easy, increased power in mid-range is noticably improved, and gas mileage has also improved by nearly 2mpg, (if I can keep my foot out of it). All in all, the K&N FIPK, has proven to be a great purchase. For those of you into sound,while accelerating, this is as throaty as it gets!"

"Excellent Product. Relatively easy installation with fairly good instructions. Mine had taken around 1 1/2 Hours from Start to finish. I did also notice a signifigant increase in power as well as a small increase in fuel mileage. Was just on an 800 mile trip after installation and had an average of .6 MPG Better."
