"Well it's shiney, I have the "Off-road" option from the dealer, so I had a slightly larger air-filter to start. That being said, stock dyno HP increase on a stock install is 12.49hp I can't really feel whatever it is on mine. Sounds a little bit throatier when passing. After about 2 weeks MPG started out at around 17.5 now Im in the low 18s somewhere. It took me about 2 hrs to install, I am NOT mechanically inclined. All in all kinda pricey for 1 mpg and some shiny metal under the hood. Next will be a throttle body spacer."

"The instructions sucked but what ever, It looks really nice when installed and adds a little power, I have not really had the chance to see any gas improvments because I have been trying to see how much performance gains I get. I think the price should be a little cheaper compared to the value you get overall but what ever."

"This went on a 2007 Grand Cherokee with 5.7 Hemi. I've had several K&N intakes in the past and this one was as easier than any of them I've put on. The instructions were better than the previous ones, or maybe I just knew what I was doing from past installations. It is surprisingly quiet when I "get on it" compared to the others, but it does seem to result in a little more performance at the top end of the rpm curve. This, along with a change to a 3" exhaust seems to give me an improvement in performance and mileage. The sound alone was worth the money!"

"This is my second k&n FIPK on my second vehicle. These kits come complete, installation is a breeze, K&N quality and performance is noticed from the first bolt you turn to the first time you start the engine. The volume of air the motor now pulls in is noticeable. The throttle response is improved, mileage isn't up a lot, but power is. A bit pricey, but compared to other manufacturers this is a deal. Thanks."

"What a great addition to my "03" Toyota Tacoma! Installation was a breeze considering I'm not a "do it yourself" kinda guy. Just follow the suppled instructions that come w/the unit and you should be done w/installation in about 1 1/2 hours. To early to see any results, but it sure sounds great!!!!!!!! The whole process from ordering to shipping via "AutoAnything" was a pleasure. By the way, I did notice from the beginning, that my throttle response has greatly improve."

"I received the kit within a couple of days of placing the order. Everything was included in the box as ordered and in good condition. Although I would recommend K&N put a little more packing material inside the box to prevent the contents from shifting around. I found the instructions to be very clear and apreciated the pictorial views of each step in the installation process. I didn't rush when installing the system (trying to make sure I didn't scratch anything on my GTO), and completed the task within 2 hours. My Goat is running fine with the new Air Intake and I do feel a slight boost in power and did notice a little better fuel economy (use that justification to your wife!). I would recommend this unit to any car enthusiast."

"I've had it about 2 weeks now and haven't yet checked the mileage yet but it looks great and i have noticed some added power. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone. I must agree with some of the other reviews when they say this thing is loud. When you first start your car it sounds like a shop vac under the hood but i noticed after a few minutes the car adapts and it quiets down some. I love this thing!"

"I have a Toyota Tundra 5.7 reg cab and i added the K and N 77 series intake. All I can say is Wow. Not only did it improve my mpg a little bit but it sounds like a beast when you get on it. Worth every penny. It took me a little over 1 hour to install it."

"I had a few bumps installing my air intake (nothing to do with the product) just a few minor bumps with the car. I am getting better gas mileage and my acceleration has gotten much better."

"I do like the finished product. it is much louder and accelerates faster. the thing i honestly did not like was that I had to drill a hole in the intake tube for a sensor. a big hole too. I had to drive to a few stores and a friends house just to drill one part. over all id give it 4 out of 5"

"While I installed my Super Chips tuner and K&N Intake one right after the other, I feel they really complimented one another and the 2004 Expedition is running much better and stronger than before. And I believe my gas mileage is better too. Good investment as I see it."

"I recently purchased a K&N air intake system for my 2004 FordF250 through Autoanything.com. I am VERY pleased with the product and the timely manner in which I recieved it from this company. I can HEAR and FEEL the difference. The K&N intake combined with the Bully Dog Power Pup and Outlook Monitor has added a CRAZY AMOUNT OF POWER to my Powerstroke. And I've gained 1 1/2 miles per gallon while pulling my trailer to work and back. But I haven't been able to calculate the mileage without pulling my trailer because I can't keep my dang foot off the gas pedal."

"I installed it in about 1 hour time. they supply rubber molding for the box that houses the air filter that doesn't fit. tried several times to make it work finally just left the molding off. doesn't seem to effect anything. noticed definite power in the mid rpm range. well worth the money."

"This is a truly great product. K&N thought of everything designing this thing, even a hanger for the transmission vent tube and a bit of rubber edging to go around the sheet metal in the fender well, to prevent vibration and scratching of the intake itself. Install was a tad more difficult than I expected, but that was mostly due to the removal of the stock bits. The intake (in red) looks fantastic, the sound is AMAZING at WOT, and a definite power gain could be felt. I highly recommend this product, and AutoAnything, who sold me the intake for $60 cheaper than anywhere else."

"Took a bit of doing but finally got it installed. The car seems to have more power. Pick up is smoother as is overall responce. I logged an additional 2 mile per gallon right from the start. Very good kit. Only drawback will be to clean the filter. On the Camaro, I have to remove the body panel under the left front fender to get at the filter and getting to the clamp to tighten the filter is going to be a real problem."
