Description

Before K&N's latest intake designs become a certified member of their hallowed 57 Series FIPK line, they start as a 63 Series AirCharger. It's what makes the 63 Series Air Intakes some of the most potent and powerful high-flow devices to roll out of the famous K&N factory.

K&N starts every 63 Series Intake with the largest possible Filtercharger cloth filter that will fit your vehicle. Massive airflow runs through this washable, reusable filter for the biggest power gains. Couple that with K&N's crosslink nylon intake tube that runs cooler than a metal pipe, and the 63 Series AirCharger Kit stuffs pure pedal punch right into your power plant.

Best yet, adding this raw power takes less than 90 minutes and requires no drilling or modification. Detailed instructions and a complete hardware kit make this DIY project a breeze. Plus, K&N includes a 10-year/1,000,000-mile warranty with your 63 Series AirCharger Intake Kit. So, why wait? Place your order for raw 63 Series power now.

"I installed the 63 series on my 06 Wrangler along with the Airaid Poweraid throttle body spacer and instantly noticed a different in my low-end torque, throttle response, and most dramatically....my fuel mileage. I went from 189 miles per tank (city) to an average of 250 miles per tank (city). I wanted the performance but was going more for better fuel economy. All my expectations were blown away. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for the above."

"I had already installed a flowmaster-40 exhaust, so this was the next step in freeing up intake/exhaust flow. There's a noticeable growl higher in the RPM band when you get on the gas and shift after 3500rpm, along with a slight intake whistle at various points in the rpm range. Neither is too difficult to live with (intake growl actually sounds cool). Between exhaust and intake mods, picked up abouut 2mpg on the highway, so this will pay for itself in no time! Better throttle response and increased ability to hold speed on a steep incline in 6th gear also. Installation was pretty straightforward. Price at autoanything.com was $25.00 better than any other deal I found also!"

"I added the K&N Aircharger to my 2007 GMC Sierra with 4.8L V8, to help with it's slug like performance. The difference was impressive. So I added the DiabloSport Predator perfomance tune and the Magnaflo performance exhaust, and now my Sierra is a real contender, and sounds awesome. Great products."

"Install... was fairly easy. Pay attention to the exploded view in the instructions for washer placement...they are easy to look over. I know guys like to be macho and not read instructions...but please keep these handy. Fuel mileage...I've only used one tank since the install, but I got an extra 30 miles out of that tank. More tanks will tell if that was a fluke or a sign of things to come. HP increase...very minimal, as the K&N dyno specs show. Sound...WOT sounds beautiful. No real change in idle sound, but WOT or half of that, and there's a noticable difference in the sound."

"Directions were not real clear. Parts are good quality and fit good but i wish the panel that blocks off the air filter from the engine compartment fit better and did not have large gaps to allow hot air in. Installing the rubber seal was a big pain and should have better fitting seal material. Overall the install was easy and looks great. Performance wise the vehicles feels to pull stronger in mid and low speeds and the fuel economy has increased (as long as i keep my foot out of it, which is not easy)"

"I have a 4.2 inline 6 in an 07 Trailblazer. As soon as I installed the intake, you could notice a dramatic difference in the response with very light acceleration. It is taking a week or so for I think the computer to get used to the increased volume of air and I have not had a normal gas tank of driving yet, but the gas mileage is now seemingly increasing. I really noticed the difference in power when towing the boat and the mileage seemed to be better. Just for the driveability pleasure, the item is well worth it. Install took about an hour and was easy to do."

"The instructions were excellent. The ease of installation on this vehicle should make it easy for most do-it-yourselfers to complete in less than 2 hours. It took me about 1 hour after identifying all the hardware. I am still evaluating the performance, but so far the only test I have given it has been without pulling my trailer. There is some increase in intake noise, which is pleasant and not overbearing as I had feared. Mileage is somewhat improved, but the real test will be under load."
