"The instructions are very clear and simple to follow, although there was one step that didn't pertain to my engine, but aside from that they were very accurate. The power increase and throttle response is very apparent, as is the change in the exhaust tune coming from my Borla dual cat back system. Sounds real nice when you give it a little gas."

"Overall I felt the installation was very simple... the step by step with pictures made it a snap. However, I think K & N needs to put all large hose clamps in the kit rather than a few large ones and the rest slightly smaller. there was a couple of instances where I had to fight to get the smaller hose clamp on when it called for that specific size... if you loosen it all the way then it wants to strip out when you start getting a just tight."

"Brought my truck to life in the mid and top range. Added an Airdraid throttle body spacer for the lower end. Best money I have ever invested. Gas mileage improved by 3-4 MPG. Now I just have to keep my foot out of it."

"The experience from the order to the delivery of the intake was faster and prompt. Ive gained 3 miles per gallon since the installation of the intake but the only thing is its hard to keep my foot out of it because of the immediate horsepower and the growl that it gets. I already had flowmasters so the sound is incredible. I can not wait to find something else to buy from autoanything. Not to mention the installation was quick and it really only took bout 40 minutes.....Highly recommend it..."

"So far I live the intake kit it geives my pickup excellence throttle response and an awesome deep throaty sound when you mash the gas pedal. You can notice the extra HP slightly during acceration and when you pass on the highway. Gas mileage has went up slightly."

"INSTRUCTIONS WERE JUMBLED A LITTLE, BUT I INSTALLED ON 2003 DODGE 1500 SO NEW WHAT WENT WHERE. TOOK ABOUT 45 MINUTES TO INSTALL. SOUNDS GREAT, CAN NOTICE POWER DIFFERENCE, BUT HAVENT DRIVEN ENOUGH TO SEE GAS MILEAGE IMPROVEMENT."

Great Performance, but....

"Performance and sound quality is great, but there are a couple of issues. The threaded bolt that holds a bracket pulled out of the tube, 2 hose clamps were to small, the OEM clamps were better quality and fit on the K&N. I like the system."

"i just bought this intake for my 1992 chevy 1500. also got a poweraid spacer for it. this sucker really rumbles underneath the hood. took not even 10 mintues to install. shipping was great even with the free one. definately made a difference in power. more throttle response and acceleration. i was lookin for someone that wasent expensive but still gave a lot of power. K&N totally was the best deal and performance you can find. highly recommend people to buy this if there lookin for some quick and easy power. this thing sounds MEAN! yea"

"Fairly easy to install. The instructions could be better. Seat of the pants feel is that there is more power. Noisy at full throttle, but very little difference from stock at freeway speeds. Overall would recommend."

"What an amzing difference. Coupled with a Magnaflow Exhaust, my Expo no longer feels like it has a rag stuffed in the airbox. THe sound and preformance feels much greater than what the dyno says. I actually had the dealer re-program my transmission to adjust fo rthe additional power. A very fine product and well worth the money. Doug Oceanside, California"
