"Excellent product. Most definitely worth the money. Does improve horsepower. My only issue is that it caused my check engine light to come on. I just purchased some mass air flow sensor cleaner, but I haven't used it yet. Hopefully this takes care of my problem."

"Great product. Sounds great and immediately noticed quicker throttle response and more power. The instructions could have been a little more detailed but other than that everything worked out ok. I recommend this product to anyone who is looking for more power better gas mileage."

"A good product that is esay to install,It was also the only cold air kit available for 2009 f-150 pick up available for sale in CA. I think the price is a little too high,but if you want the product I guess you have to pay the price."

"It was pretty easy installing it in my trail blazer, but the clamp was to small to fit around the main connect, I got it though. it imrpove my mileage by 2 miles and I can tell the increase in horse power. All around its tight."

"Since K&N didn't make any changes to the actual air filter I was disappointed that they don't offer the kit minus the air filter since I already had the filter."

"This was my first cold air intake and i've installed easier accessories, but it wasn't especially difficult either. I can definently feel the horsepower gain and the sound is much different than before. Much louder almost sounds like a forced induction engine now. I ended up pairing it with a side swept gibson exhaust and I think it's an excellent pair. If you're looking for a little sound but nothing annoying or that resonates through the cab then I reccomend the combo."

"Installed this in my '08 Silverado with a 6.0L v8. Very easy to install, about 90 minutes, only had to drill one hole. Made a noticeable difference in performance. Much snappier at mid to high range RPM. Also adds a nice "throatier" sound when accelerating. As far as fuel economy goes, I haven't noticed much of a difference, been on the throttle too much."

"It took me about 2 hrs. to install. I took my time and it has a real clean look. I think the hardware descriptions could be improved on, it was more tedious than it had to be. Overall, I would say the installation was easy. The "Burb" runs smoother and definitely has better performance. A big improvement with the acceleration and I love the "roar". I feel like a kid again and my wife thinks I added pipes,(lol) it really has a good sound. I would highly recommend it for all "Burb" owners. Well worth the $$$. It's too early for mileage analysis, but it's got to be better for as smooth as she runs. I'm still a little feisty with it anyway. One word to sum it up - "Smooth", from the order to the drive."

"As soon as I installed the K&N 63 Series Aircharger High-Flow Intake I went on a 3 1/2 hour trip pulling a 30' travel trailer, which I do all summer long. The extra 17 horse power that it gave me made the trip alot easier and I notice also that installing the 63 series AHI the fuel improved by 3-4 mpg better, so I highly and I repeat Highly recommend this product to anybody that pulls heavy loads."

"I liked the kit and I can notice an improvement in the throttle response. The kit also gives the Tahoe a nice growl sound when under acceleration. Only complaint I have is the installation took longer than expected. I had to drill a hole in a plate to mount the filter case, which I was not prepared for; but overall a nice product and everything fitted together nicely."

"This was an easy installation into my truck. All the parts fit in with existing holes with no need for any modifications. Once installed, I saw a difference in initial take off speed; as well as better fuel economy. I am just disappointed that it took me this long to get this intake for my truck. This is a good buy weather you are looking for performance or better fuel economy."

"Installed K&N63 on my 2007 Corvette, it added a nice sound under the hood & I installed it in less than 30 mins. The best thing I notice is my gas mileage on the highway, it went from 22.7 to 24.5 and that was not driving at 55, and was with the AC on most of the time."

"As in other reviews, I found the instructions to be lacking slightly in the detail/resolution of the pictures. The biggest issue with install was that, at least for my truck, I required a 5/8" drill bit to properly install the filter shroud. This is a large bit which does not come standard in most drill bit sets. The cheapest single bit I could find was about $17.00. Definately factor this into the plan for any installation. Sounds good, looks good."

"I just put it on my 2008 Silverado and have not tryed it out yet I bought the truck as a rebuilder and it was convienant to replace the factory air cleaner now when the original one was all busted up from the accident and the K&N sounds like it out performs the original which I am sure it does I have had K&N prviously on passed trucks"

"I have found that by changing the air cleaner the Tundra does have infact more power. It is easier to get the truck moving from a stop. Engine seems to run smoother. The tansmission seems to have smoother shifts especially as it maintains speed up hill. It is to soon to tell if there has been a change in gas milage. The installation was the easiest I have ever done. Only criticism is with the installation of the air mass module. On the originial it fits into a recessed appature . The K&N fits in a flat surface with two small platic washers that account for the module not sitting into a recess. A fulll gasket would be much better or actually having a recess added as in the originial installation. Thanks."

"this is the 2nd one of these ive bought and they never cease to amaze me.Both were on Tocomas one was 2.7 this one was a 4.0 x-runner.the added hp is subtle but its there,sounds amazing, you loose that drag when you turn on a/c... i could right a book... just by one"

"Installed easy on a 08 Siverado with 5.3. Had to drill one hole. Great product. Very quiet at idle and regular cruise. Throatier growl and high rpm (3.5K plus). Would highly recommend!"
