"I first tried a really trick intake from fujita and it didnt fit, at $365 that shouldnt happen. Then I came to my sences and bought a K&N like I have on all my other cars (5), it fit perfectally. The big suprise was when I hit the gas! I have theK&N 63 in my 5.7 hemi 300c and lit the tires for about 100 feet! I couldent believe my eyes, I havent been able to do this on a mostly stock car since the 70's Im very happy with the product and the service I recieved.....P.S. I also gained about four mpg as a bonus"

"I recently purchased the K&N 63 Series and it is unlike any CAI I have ever used. The response and added power gain, coupled with the magnaflow exhaust I put on is remarkable! I am a true believer in this product. Only took 15 min to install (Granted it was not my first CAI install). If you are looking for a sport sound, more power, and a growl that will make you mouth water, you need to buy the 63 Series from K&N!"

I would recommend this product for anyone who is looking for added fuel economy and additional power. It was good to get rid of the factory air box."

Power but no milage

"I have a 2007 GMC 1500 crew cab. I installed the 63 series a little over a week ago and it made a difference. The sound and response is excellent, but I did loose at least 1 MPG in fuel economy. I am pretty anal about watching my mileage and it definitely went down. As for the installation, I give it a 2 1/2 to a 3. While it was not hard to install, the lack of detailed instruction was not there. I am very handy under the hood and had to stop a few time to study diagrams to see what they were talking about. The kit also had a few incorrect parts. They sent two different size bolts to secure the air box to the frame, and the hose clams for the throttle body are too small (I had to use the old ones that came off) All and all I am satisfied with the product and do recommend it to anyone who want more power and better sound."

"Works well. Easy to install and takes about 1 hour. Photo directions could be a little clearer, but not to hard to figure out. Gives a small boost to fuel milage. Sounds good when car is under acceleration."

High Quality Easy nstallation

"The kit is made of very high quality components. The installation was very easy, just follow the excellent included instructions. The only issue I had, was that they sent 2 hose clamps that were too small. I used the clamps from the parts I took off, so it was a non-issue as far as I am concerned. Not as loud as I thought it might be, only a little louder than stock when you really step on it. Power improved a lot, milage just a little, maybe 1 MPG."

"Excellent Product. Relatively easy installation with fairly good instructions. Mine had taken around 1 1/2 Hours from Start to finish. I did also notice a signifigant increase in power as well as a small increase in fuel mileage. Was just on an 800 mile trip after installation and had an average of .6 MPG Better."

"I had a K&N cold intake system on my previous truck and was pleased with it. However, the 63 model that I placed on my new truck is a great compliment to the stock 5.3L engine. You can really feel the difference when your RPMs climb."

"The sound of the 4.7 LTR engine is incredible. The installation took a little longer than I planned, but I have the tools to do the job. One issue was the wire on the air temp sensor was just barely long enough to connect to the new intake tube, but did make it. Also, the intake tube covers the standard oil fill tube, but I can get around that as well. The horsepower increase is more than I expected, and still waiting to see increase in MPG."
