"You have to try to go wrong with the K&N intake kit. The instructions are good; the only thing that took me by surprise was wrapping the rubber seal around the heat shield. In the end it was no big deal. I did notice a little more throtle response. If nothing else it makes my truck sound mean!"

"The product was delivered in a fair amount of time (less than a week). Installation was fairly easy, just make sure you review the installation instructions first. When removing the stock "air box" it became quite clear as to how restrictive it really was! After installing the new AirCharger kit it was obvious the engine was getting A LOT more air. Didn't noticed a major increase in hp, however, I started off with 400hp to begin with. I am pleased with the product knowing my car can breath properly now. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Good value for the money. One more recommendation...I added a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust which also helped. If you allow more air into the engine, you must let it out. That's when you'll notice gains in hp!"

Not fully developed kit

"Installation was quick & easy, however the kit does not seal off the hot air from around the engine well at all! I had to build my own lower seal; afterwhich the air temp was 20 degrees cooler than with the way K&N built the kit. After my changes the performance was better than stock[as measured using a GTech pro device that sticks to the windshield and measures 0-60, g force etc.] 0-60 is now cosistently 5.4 vs the stock 5.6. Highway fuel economy is up about .7 mpg. Worth the investment at least after I completed what K&N should have done to begin with."

"The K&N kit has lived up to its name for me. I have never installed anything on a car before and even I could get this thing put together in about 1 hour. The kit gives the Mustang a deeper sound, albeit with more volume. The car seems more responsive too which is great. Overall I am very impressed with the kit and look forward to seeing how it helps (hopefully) my fuel economy."

"I installed my K&N with no problem, this is my first week with it installed in my Toyota Tacoma and Iam and not getting any performance out of this product, My gas mielage is terrible, I will be calling K&N to see what the problem could possibly be???????? So far not what I expected :("

"The instructions were perfect! Everything went smoothly. Inserting the temp sensor was the trickiest part. The fit and finish were perfect for my vehicle and it looks great installed. With just two days worth of driving (too early to tell) I have picked up 1 mpg. A bit more responsive with a slightly better sound. Overall - a great product!"

"I have had my K&N Cold Air Intake in my Caliber R/T for a couple weeks now. I am very happy with the results. More kick in the pants, faster 0 to 60 by a second and sounds like its opening up a four barrel on flooring it yet quiet on "regular" acceleration."

"It was very noticeable as soon as I cranked up the engine. I have magnaflo exhaust dumped just before the axle. Man it really sounds and performs great. It sounds like a V8 should sound and I picked up a couple of good ol MPGs along with the performance. I just need to keep my foot out of the throttle...Hard to do!!!"

Not all I expected

"Installation wasn't bad, but took about 1.5 hours. No increase in gas mileage after two tanks of gas. A little more HP at higher RPMs. Comes with Dyno chart for specific make and model. Sound is almost annoying at around 2,200 RPM, but really growls when you put your foot in it. Overall OK, but a little pricey for the results."

"GOOD: Love it. Easily installed in under an hour in the driveway. Noticeable extra kick at take-off and nice throaty burble when accellerating. BAD: 15% HP increase for normal drivers is a myth (15HP incease at 6000RPMs). Pictures in instructions were low-res and almost useless, but it's not a difficult install."

"I installed this air filter on my fj and I must say, it is really sweet! It is loud and really looks good installed. I dont think it helped my mpg, but it did increase the hp."
