"I like the increased performance and extra horsepower. I can really tell a difference. However, fuel economy has suffered for it. Went from 14-15mpg to 10-11mpg (ouch)."

"INSTRUCTIONS WERE JUMBLED A LITTLE, BUT I INSTALLED ON 2003 DODGE 1500 SO NEW WHAT WENT WHERE. TOOK ABOUT 45 MINUTES TO INSTALL. SOUNDS GREAT, CAN NOTICE POWER DIFFERENCE, BUT HAVENT DRIVEN ENOUGH TO SEE GAS MILEAGE IMPROVEMENT."

"The kit was delivered fast, easy to follow instructions and what a difference. My 2.4L 4-banger just didn't have the muscle to pass or merge like I wanted... but now I am confident. I could feel the difference right away and hear it too."

"Very happy with the sound and power I have now. Now when I push the gas I can tell I have a V-8 under the hood. Have not been able to tell gas mailage yet. Sure it will come in time. I will now put one on any truck or suv I buy."

"Performance and sound quality is great, but there are a couple of issues. The threaded bolt that holds a bracket pulled out of the tube, 2 hose clamps were to small, the OEM clamps were better quality and fit on the K&N. I like the system."

K&N FIPK Air Intake

"Installation was longer than suggested but fairly simple. Toughest part was placing the air intake tube to the carb as the carb is in the rear of the engine compartment just below the front of the cab. There was only 1" of clearance. Also connecting the vent tube was difficult as it is behind the carb. The performance is good. I've noticed an increase in power (quicker response)and gas mileage."
