Description

Before K&N's latest intake designs become a certified member of their hallowed 57 Series FIPK line, they start as a 63 Series AirCharger. It's what makes the 63 Series Air Intakes some of the most potent and powerful high-flow devices to roll out of the famous K&N factory.

K&N starts every 63 Series Intake with the largest possible Filtercharger cloth filter that will fit your vehicle. Massive airflow runs through this washable, reusable filter for the biggest power gains. Couple that with K&N's crosslink nylon intake tube that runs cooler than a metal pipe, and the 63 Series AirCharger Kit stuffs pure pedal punch right into your power plant.

Best yet, adding this raw power takes less than 90 minutes and requires no drilling or modification. Detailed instructions and a complete hardware kit make this DIY project a breeze. Plus, K&N includes a 10-year/1,000,000-mile warranty with your 63 Series AirCharger Intake Kit. So, why wait? Place your order for raw 63 Series power now.

Great Add on!

Posted on 04/14/2007 by Spencer R. - 2007 Dodge Ram (Lecanto,FL)

"I recently purchased the K&N Aircharger kit and after about an hour had it installed. Installation is pretty easy with only one or two steps on the instructions that weren't very clear. This intake definately changes the sound your truck makes ( mine is a 2007 Hemi Ram) creating a much deeper, throatier (louder!) tone during acceleration, but not so bad as to annoy me. It added a bit more to my bottom and mid range, but not a night and day difference. Over all I"m very pleased, and very satisfied with my purchase."

"The K&N air system was a breeze to install. The directions were clear and the step by step pictures were clear and easy to follow. My truck feels more responsive. I haven't had the air system on long enough to see if the gas mileage has improved. The K&N air system sure cleaned up the top of my engine compartment. The people at AutoAnything were of great help. Thanks."

Decent intake

Posted on 04/10/2007 by Rudolph H. - 2006 Ford F150 (Ringgold,GA)

"Alright price ($233). I noticed some power gains, especially in torque. It really opened up the air flow to the engine, my F150 V6 sounds like a mini V8 now. Good buy for the sound and mild power add, no change in gas mileage."

great on the throttle, poor when off

Posted on 04/09/2007 by Jan C. - 2007 Ford Mustang (Cantonment,FL)

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.

"First air intake smaller then throttle-body causing dirty air to pass by mass air flow sensor when decelerating resulting in engine misfire. Second air intake was better fit at throttle-body with less engine misfire when decelerating but idle was jumping up and down resulting in 2 stalls at red lights during a 20 mile drive. K&N and AutoAnything have been easy to work with and tried hard to resolve the problem but in the end the product was returned."

Crazy Improvements On My HO V8 Dakota

Posted on 04/09/2007 by Joe P. - 2006 Dodge Dakota (South Williamsport,PA)

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.

"I installed my air intake in just under an hour in conjunction with a flowmaster full exhaust on my 06 Dakota high output. The intake sounds incredible at idle, and even better when you get on it. My Horsepower went from 260 stock to 296 with the intake and exhaust. Those two coupled with a tonneau cover gave me nearly 10 MPG better city and 8 MPG better highway. Best money i have spent on easy to install aftermarket parts."

good stuff

Posted on 04/08/2007 by Jayne H. - 2005 Chevy Colorado (Wichita,KS)

"Pretty easy to install. One nut was missing, but I had one in my nuts and bolts cemetary. Performance is hard to judge, as I'd already put a Magnalflow catback on and had my PCM tuned. It may pull aittle harder in the middle RPM's. MPG took a few tanks, but I'm in the 18's during normal weekly driving. That's up from upper 16's-17's after recalibrating for my two sizes up AT tires. So, it seems the intake got me back to factory MPG. The really noticeable thing is the sound. HOLY COW! Get on it just a little more than normal and you hear a huge difference-deep, throaty note. Floor it you'd think I'd had an engine swap-loud as heck! This is a pro and a con. I've had some sports cars mistake this for a challenge."

Help--I want to return it!

Posted on 04/06/2007 by Kevin D. (Chesapeake,VA)

"I installed the Aircharger and soon thereafter my CEL (check engine light) came on; I took it in to my mechanic and he said the Aircharger was bothering the Mass Airflow Sensor and he recommended I take it off, which I did. I also contacted K&N and informed them about this; I also did the empirical swap test back to the original airbox. The CEl only comes on when the Aircharger is installed. I have restored my car back to original equipment and want to return the Aircharger for credit. Please advise."

Tundra Aircharger Review

Posted on 04/05/2007 by Robert M. - 2004 Toyota Tundra (Lynn Haven,FL)

"It has made a big difference and I should have done it sooner. The instructions need better pictures and the bracket does not fit flush with the indention in the body of the aircharger. Most importantly it gives the extra power as claimed.I'm pleased with the outcome and recommend everyone get one."

K&N 63 Series AirCharger High-Flow Intake Kit For 2005 GTO

Posted on 04/04/2007 by Scot S. - 2005 Pontiac GTO (Virginia Beach,VA)

"Installation: Instructions were thorough. I had all of the tools on hand except for the Torque Tip. Installation time was about 45 minutes. Performance: Definite improvement! Three G-Timer 0-60 runs yielded consistant 4.8 seconds.(This was with a passenger and a noticible increase in wheelspin off the line. It felt about 1-2 tenths quicker than stock if I could have hooked it up. Noise: Car still remains fairly quiet until I mash the accellerator. It is much more throaty than stock under full acceleration. Fuel Economy: Now for the kicker...My instantaneous fuel computer readings are a constant 3-4 MPG above stock readings.(traveling on familiar roads.) Time average MPG has improved by 3 MPG over stock. (in order to notice this fuel economy, you need to keep your foot out of it.) Overall: Outstanding Product, K&N. Much bang-for-the-buck."
