"What I received was different than what I thought I ordered,(read the fine print). I installed it anyway and it sounds the way the air cleaners did with the lid turned over. Seems I gained about 1-2 mpg."

"The performance advertised has had many disclaimers by people on forums who have tested them. I have not performed any dyno test and cannot confirm or deny the claims. I feel that there is an increase in HP in the higher rpm range and the sound at WOT is kick-ass. The installation was fairly simple with the execption of the edge trim on the box. Not only was it difficult to install but the appearence is not what you would want for a show car finish. K&N needs to work on that."

"Kit was easy to install, cleans up the engine compartment nicely, definitly noticed a increase in power, going from a roll at 40mph to WOT. I can break the tires loose! I also added Airraid throttle body spacer. To new to get MPG'S"

"I like the Air Charger kit. The engine sounds so much better. This is the first one that I have had that lowered my gas mileage instead of increasing it. I have had about 15 different cold air inductions and this one is the first. I do like it I just don't understand the gas mileage going down. And no I am not running it to death just normal driving. Thanks!!!"

"The K&N aircharger was good for a quicker throttle response, I'm not sure about adding anything for gas mileage. But worth the small investment.And it also added more sound, and it wasn't to loud like some girls said in the past."

"I purchased a Cold AIr Intake for 1994 GMC Suburban 5.7L gas engine. The K&N was an easy and effective replacment for the stock air intake. I have not obtained a MPG on this tank of gas, but the engine response is much better."

"Easy to follow instructions were key. Step by step pictures had the new intake installed in an hour. Improved performance was noticed immediately. You can even hear the engine "breath" when you tap the gas. It just gulps air. The intake is louder and throatier than stock- but when you stomp the gas- she takes off. I would recomend it for any vehicle from the commuter box to the favorite toy."

"It took about a hour to install the improvement in the engine's performance was phenomenal. The 4.7 seemed to start running weak in the high mid-ranges, the change in intake provided dramatically more power, and quicker response. Great value. Do this mod before anything else. the truck seems like a different vehicle."

"This intake is amazing! I've noticed 4 more mpg when im driving normally, but it's been really hard not to show this thing off! You can really hear the intake in the front of the truck and in the back, especially if you have an aftermarket exhaust (I have Flowmaster 40's). Very noticeable power gains, gas is much more responsive and when you floor it, everyone knows it, and everyone looks. As the title cleary states, this intake is amazing, a must buy! I recommend this intake to anyone. Autoanything delivered EARLIER than expected and everything was perfectly packaged. Took about an hour and a half to install just trying to find the right sockets. Instructions are very clear and easy to understand. Will buy from Autoanything again!"

"The second I finished installing this and took it for a spin, I felt the power increase. Intallation was real easy, it took me about 45 minutes. I've noticed the better gas milage. I recommend this for everybody, espacially if you want more power to your engine."

"Had the K&N 63 series intake on my 06 F150 5.4L for about 3 weeks now and man do i love it! Definite boost in power and coupled with the dual flowmasters gives my truck a mean growl-the intake even sounds like a turbo at some RPMs. I am thouroughly satisfied -would recommend to anyone who wants to increase power and give your truck a better sound!"
