Description

Before K&N's latest intake designs become a certified member of their hallowed 57 Series FIPK line, they start as a 63 Series AirCharger. It's what makes the 63 Series Air Intakes some of the most potent and powerful high-flow devices to roll out of the famous K&N factory.

K&N starts every 63 Series Intake with the largest possible Filtercharger cloth filter that will fit your vehicle. Massive airflow runs through this washable, reusable filter for the biggest power gains. Couple that with K&N's crosslink nylon intake tube that runs cooler than a metal pipe, and the 63 Series AirCharger Kit stuffs pure pedal punch right into your power plant.

Best yet, adding this raw power takes less than 90 minutes and requires no drilling or modification. Detailed instructions and a complete hardware kit make this DIY project a breeze. Plus, K&N includes a 10-year/1,000,000-mile warranty with your 63 Series AirCharger Intake Kit. So, why wait? Place your order for raw 63 Series power now.

Easy Installation and Performance Enhancement

"This went on a 2007 Grand Cherokee with 5.7 Hemi. I've had several K&N intakes in the past and this one was as easier than any of them I've put on. The instructions were better than the previous ones, or maybe I just knew what I was doing from past installations. It is surprisingly quiet when I "get on it" compared to the others, but it does seem to result in a little more performance at the top end of the rpm curve. This, along with a change to a 3" exhaust seems to give me an improvement in performance and mileage. The sound alone was worth the money!"

"Pretty easy to install, and looks better than the factory airbox/intake. It took me about a week to see a difference in MPG, as I love the "woosh" sound of the air being drawn in when I get on it a little (...or a lot!). Now that my right foot has lightened up a little, I'm averaging about 2 MPG more than stock (freeway and street driving, and about 4 MPG increase on straight freeway cruising) and the seat-of-the-pants dyno says my Pony has a little more giddyup. Definitely would recommend this intake to anyone who wants to give their V6 'stang a little more kick."

"With the help of a mechanically savvy friend, I installed the K&N 63 Series Intake Kit. It's too soon to know if there is any increase in mileage. However, I immediately noticed the improved engine response and the throaty sound that's made during aggressive accelerations."

"Installation is easy and straightforward...about an hour from start to finish. All parts fit with no issue. Temperature sensor hole could be rotated some as the current location puts the wiring harness in a bind. Acceleration is markedly improved and the sound let's everyone know to get out of the way. Gas mileage increase on the first tank was about 1 MPG...payback on the unit will be 6 months"

"The install took me about 30 min, only because I had to put all the parts together and remove the old air intake system. The K&N installed with no problems and I could feel a difference in the acceleration in my vehicle. I am not sure just yet if it give better fuel mileage but I didn't buy it for that. All in all this is a great product and the price is just right."

"Just installed the 63 series K&N cold air intake on my 07 Trailblazer SS and it went on easy and looks cool. By just putting the K&N on it saves a lot of wieght over all the factory stuff. It sounds wicked when you go to wide open throttle and it feels like there is more power. I haven't checked the fuel mileage yet."

K&N 63 for 2007 Nissan Titan

"I read all the reviews on AutoAnything before purchasing and expected to have less than a completely smooth installation. I even allowed myself a 2 hour block of time to be sure. However, nothing could have been further from the reality. I laid all the parts out on a table in front of my truck, and made sure I had the tools listed also. I took my time and followed the instructions, stopped for a quick lunch in the middle and was still done in less than 90 mins! The only thing that could be improved with the instructions would be to identify where the hardware (nuts, bolts & washers) were to be used, but it was fairly easy to guess. I had no leak problems and everything looks good. After driving for a couple of weeks since install the truck is a little more responsive in the mid range, definitely a bit louder in the mid range but I'm not sure its a particularly satisfying sound (not exactly a roar, more of a pulsation), but most importantly I believe i'm seeing an extra 15 - 20 miles from full to the midway line on the fuel gauge (225 miles vs 205-210 miles). Overall I would recommend the AirCharger, and I hope this review helps someone who was initially undecided like myself."

"I am a big believer in K&N AirChargers. I have put them or at least K&N filters on almost everything I have owned in recent years. I have not put my car on a dyno to yet but I can tell a big difference. I was surprised at how quiet it is. I can't hear it over the supercharger. It should have come from the factory with an AirCharger. The stock setup is too restrictive."

"I just recently bought my Nitro R/T and this was going to be my first upgrade. I have not seen increases in MPG yet because I can’t keep my foot of the gas. It has a great noise around 4/6000 RPM sound nice and powerful. I would have to say I like the K&N over AIM and the other cheaper filter. Even if there is more maintenance to the K&N with having to oil them."
