Description

Before K&N's latest intake designs become a certified member of their hallowed 57 Series FIPK line, they start as a 63 Series AirCharger. It's what makes the 63 Series Air Intakes some of the most potent and powerful high-flow devices to roll out of the famous K&N factory.

K&N starts every 63 Series Intake with the largest possible Filtercharger cloth filter that will fit your vehicle. Massive airflow runs through this washable, reusable filter for the biggest power gains. Couple that with K&N's crosslink nylon intake tube that runs cooler than a metal pipe, and the 63 Series AirCharger Kit stuffs pure pedal punch right into your power plant.

Best yet, adding this raw power takes less than 90 minutes and requires no drilling or modification. Detailed instructions and a complete hardware kit make this DIY project a breeze. Plus, K&N includes a 10-year/1,000,000-mile warranty with your 63 Series AirCharger Intake Kit. So, why wait? Place your order for raw 63 Series power now.

"The K & N 63 series charger just blows my mind. It took an already impressive 4.0L Nissan Frontier V6 and took it to another level. There is some noticable horsepower gain, but only at 4000 rpm. The sound however is awesome."

Better response from the 5.3

Posted on 07/05/2006 by David D. - 2005 Chevy Silverado (Cordova,TN)

"It took about 45 mins. to install. Much better flow and could fill a difference in preformance. Looks better too. I also installed an airaid throttle body spacer. The two have improved power and added a little bit of gasmileage to my truck which is a 2005 chevy 1500 crew cab 4x4 with the 5.3. Would reomend to anyone looking for improvement over oem."

Speed with a growl!

Posted on 07/01/2006 by Ben C. - 2005 Ford F150 (San Antonio,TX)

"I installed the K & N in a 2005 F150 SuperCrew 4x4 with a 4.6l. The install was not difficult. I recommend tubing between the intake casing and the sheet metal bracket as the casing vibrates when driving.I noticed the increase of power immediately. My 4.6L has some get up and go when I need it. The growling from the k & N filter is also impressive. I also increased my gas mileage by 1 1/2 miles per gallon."

"Install a brease. 30 min instalation. Running a bullydog programmer and mangaflow 4" exhaust, did not see hardly any more power or mileage, but bullydog has taken care of that. Does let my duramax breath extremly well. Great product will recommend to anyone. I am sure it is helping in fuel mileage and power I just have not driven enough to see the full effects. I will need to buy a dust cover for the filter because the dusty conditions that I drive."

Not so easy install

Posted on 06/22/2006 by Chris R. - 2006 Dodge Ram (Phoenix,AZ)

"First of all I will say the product is nice, and was a reasonable price and shipped pretty fast. I have a noticeable power increase. However Install on my 06 Ram was not as easy, for the bracket at the radiator you have to mount between overflow and radiator and it is still tough, The hardest part by far was the air temp sensor, You need at least a 3/4 drill bit, I still broke the 1st one, on the second I used a grinder GENTLY to take off the square edges and shape it like a bullet, then with alittle lube it squeezed right in. Trust me on this one. I think K&N should include a tube with a pre drilled hole as this may cause simular problems for others and could be so easily remidied. But I am still very happy with my purchase."

Magnum CAI

Posted on 06/21/2006 by Richard Z. - 2006 Dodge Magnum (Hobe Sound,FL)

"Installed the K&N air charger cai the other day and all went as advertised. Took about one hour to comlpete. The hardest part was the rubber molding on the filter box. Just keep at it and it will go. The cold air sensor fought a bit until I soaped the gromet and it slid right in. IT works great, car sounds right at WOT but is quiet otherwise. As to power, hard to tell, but it fells more responsive. Make sure you recheck the clamps after a few days, all mine took a few turns more. All in all a good product and value."

Posted on 06/13/2006 by Lewis L. - 2008 Chevy Equinox (Reno,NV)

"Easy to install but best to partially cut the rubber sealing gaskit at inside corners for ease of fitment. I can feel the motor rev up quicker under load, meaning that there must be some horsepower gain. I have a K&N filter on every motor vehical I own and all have helped the proformance. Thanks for a great produce. Lew Reno Nv."
