Description

Before K&N's latest intake designs become a certified member of their hallowed 57 Series FIPK line, they start as a 63 Series AirCharger. It's what makes the 63 Series Air Intakes some of the most potent and powerful high-flow devices to roll out of the famous K&N factory.

K&N starts every 63 Series Intake with the largest possible Filtercharger cloth filter that will fit your vehicle. Massive airflow runs through this washable, reusable filter for the biggest power gains. Couple that with K&N's crosslink nylon intake tube that runs cooler than a metal pipe, and the 63 Series AirCharger Kit stuffs pure pedal punch right into your power plant.

Best yet, adding this raw power takes less than 90 minutes and requires no drilling or modification. Detailed instructions and a complete hardware kit make this DIY project a breeze. Plus, K&N includes a 10-year/1,000,000-mile warranty with your 63 Series AirCharger Intake Kit. So, why wait? Place your order for raw 63 Series power now.

"Autoanything service is 2nd to none, very helpful. Filter kit is great...easy to install, adds power and the sound is fericious when throttle is opened...very tame otherwise. Nice addition, not sure of mileage benefit..can't keep my foot out of it."

"The install only took 20 minutes. I was very impressed with the quality and design. Overall performance was increased substancially without the excesive noise normally associated with performance intakes.Highway cruising is execptionally quit and smooth. 5th gear now pulls strong even when passing. A must have product to unleash the potential of the 2.7."

"Installed 5 days ago. so far my gas mileage has dropped but not sure if its the lead in my foot. Love the sound with my flowmaste Exhaust. Seems to increase the tork a bit especially in the higher rpms. I believe it will take a few consistant highway miles to have the computer relearn, sounds great though"

not so simple

Posted on 12/14/2005 by Brian F. - 1992 Ford F-150 (San Jose,CA)

"Installing the kit took more customizing than I thought it should have.I'm not sure if the cold air intake is working as well as it should since the air box for the KN is wide open so that air is drawn from under the hood as well as the tube."

Enjoying It So Far

Posted on 12/05/2005 by Craig B. (Peridot,AZ)

"I recently purchased the K&N 63 series air charger for my 2005 Chevy Colorado. I really am enjoying the benefits of the K&N air charger. I love the sound it gives my engine at high RPMs. I am also experiencing noticeably better gas mileage. If there was a minor disappointment, it would be the improvement in torque. Yes it does improve torque, but not much."

Posted on 12/04/2005 by Robert S. - 2005 Ford F-150 (Plano ,TX )

"Since i have placed k&N's cold air intake on my 05 F150 screw, i have noticed a depper rumble, when you give it gas, which makes it sound more liek a truck . i have also noticed the fuel efficiency aprox. 100 miles over what i used to be able to go on a full tank. Works great, something i would advise on getting."

K&N FIPK

Posted on 11/23/2005 by Rupert F. (Franklinton,NC)

"I own a 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche Z71. The K&N FIPK blows the stock unit away. I have a Corsa catback exhaust, so now my truck eats and poops well. The K&N FIPK was easy to install. Installation instructions were clear and easy to follow. Professional fit and finish. I didn't buy my truck because it was good on gas. Maybe the K&N FIPK helps my fuel mileage, but I can't keep my foot out the the gas long enough to tell. The performance gains are what I wanted and got. The harmonics of the K&N along with my Corsa catback are music to my ears. I love it!!!Sounds like a big 4 barrel kicking in with a turbo devouring every gulp of air it can suck in!!!"

BMW 325i K&N Air Charger

Posted on 11/04/2005 by Michelle B. - 2001 BMW 3-Series (Scottsdale,AZ)

"Fit, finish, and overall K&N product quality is excellent. Installation was very simple. There was a very noticeable kick in performance, particularly in the 3000 & up RPM range. Overall sound is just a bit louder but not bad at all. The only problem is an odd grating sound at low throttle and a very annoying whistle at a very distinct, low throttle. If whistle persists I will have to remove the K&N Air Charger."

Great

Posted on 11/02/2005 by Garrett M. (Cumming,GA)

"The K&N 63 Air charger High Flow intake is great. I installed it a day after I got the intake kit and it give a very big boost in HP. It also sounds like a vacuum when you start the engine cold but then it warms up you can barley hear it and if you get the RPM's up you can really hear it then. The kit also works great with the flowmasters I have. I didn't have any problem with installing this kit. The install was easy to understand and it only took me 30 min to install. This kit is worth the money if you are looking for a HP boost."

K&N = Quality

Posted on 10/27/2005 by Scott P. - 2003 Toyota Tundra (Santa Barbara,CA)

"I've been running the 63 Series Air Charger for about 2 weeks on my 03 Toyota Tundra. I can't say that I've been overwhelmed by any fuel economy improvement, but I have definitely noticed an increase in power. This won't push you back in your seat, but it helps. Also, the extra noise from the hood is awesome. You can hear it breathe and it just sounds meaner. Definitely recommend it."
