"Already had a K&N filter on my '91 Miata and loved it. This was one of the easiest modifications I have made to my '07 Avalanche. Installation took a relaxed hour. Looks & sounds great. Recent trip to Atlanta took my MPG from just over 15 to 18.5 & I got delayed in traffic, due to accidents, twice. Getting ready for a road trip from GA to OR & am looking forward to the additional savings on gas on that trip. Jim Macon, GA"

"I bought this for my 08 ram with a hemi.. I see no improvement in gas mileage or performance.. All I got was a deeper sounding exhaust during acceleration.. That's not worth 350$$..on the bad side it changed the shifting pattern of the truck and seems to bog it down.. If I could do it all over again I would save my money or buy a superchip.."

"Great quality materials used everything was easy to install except the mounting support bracket was made for a automatic transmission and not a 6-spd so some enginuity was needed there. Im kindof dissapointed performance wise to me it actually made my car slower in the higher rpm. it changed the power band to give a slightly increase in power if none at about 4500-5000 rpm but to me its barely noticable because befor i had extremely smooth power all the way to redline with no spikes or drop offs befor but with the air charger it spikes in power at 5000 but drops off afterwards. All in all i wish i just got the K&N replacement filter and saved alot of money. I do have to say it sounds cool it give the car a mean growl when u rev it up anywhere above 3500 rpm. But its a mean growl that to me makes it feel weaker power wise. I am getting 1 extra mpg though that is cool."

"Was extremely satisfied with the product as well as the sale. It was in my hands within 2 days, and the install mabye took about 45 mins. Haven't really noticed an increase in fuel mileage, but that is probably because when you floor it the sound is awesome! ;-) I highly recommend getting this product, your truck with thank you for the amount of air flow your giving it. Dave"

"what a diference i noticed it right away sounds great looks great they need to change the instructions from pictures to drawings that would be clearer i have had it in 2 weeks now i get about 15 more miles per tank of gas i was getting 18 in the mountains now i get 19.5 on flat streches i get 22 in a 08 silverado with the 4.8 v8 i love it"

"The intake kit was fairly easy to install and took only about 1 1/2 hours. As far as performance goes, I'm very satisfied with it, throttle response increased greatly, and it looks great in the engine compartment to."

"If you're looking to upgrade the performance of your truck, the K&N intake kit is the first thing you should do. Increases in horsepower & mileage, although not substantial, are noticeable. The quality of the parts, from the screws to the heat shield, are first rate. I recommmend using tin snips to trim the back of the large rubber seal when installing it around the heat shield. Other than that, the instructions are fairly easy to follow. Everything you need is included and the entire kit matches up well to the existing mounting holes. If you can't install this in a couple of hours by yourself, you're doing something wrong!"

"Adding the air intake to my 2008 magnum sxt 6cylinder resolve all the Lag problems that started when I added heavier aftermarket rims Now my magnum is large and incharge.I recommed everybody get one. Next for me is a chip!"

"Great product, with high quality components. The installation instructions are poor and cryptic. Also, a system like this should not require drilling of holes into a vehicle, as this does on some models (like my Tahoe). My butt dyno notices a slight increase in power, especially at WOT. The sound at WOT is really great. The first time I stood on it, it actually startled me. Dramatically changed the engine sound in a very good way."

"Took about an hour total to remove the stock intake and install the K&N 63 cold air intake. Immediate power gains, especially in the upper rev range. I love the deep throaty roar at full throttle, and there's no drone at steady cruising. I've got K&N filters and intakes in all my cars and the truck's the newest addition to the K&N family."
