"I got the K&N 63 series air charger high-flow intake kit for Christmas. I was so excited and installed it that day. I also go the hypertech programmer. I noticed additional horsepower upon acceleration and have already noticed an increase in fuel efficiency. So far so good."

"This intake coupled with my Magnaflow wide body muffler produces a snarl that is downright mean sounding! Very loud so think twice if you want to maintain OEM sound levels. Producing about 1MPG more in mileage and seems like it has a little more power. Truth is it feels like it is twice as powerful but I think thats just the sound! The rubber gasket is a total pain in the a** to put on so I would recommend doing this in your living room and heat the gasket up a bit to make it more pliable. Other than that, the install was pretty easy. Took me 2 hours due to fighting with the cold rubber gasket for 20 minutes."

"Installation was not too hard...took about 1.5 hours (has alot of parts). Quality is real nice and looks good under my hood. Performance-wise can feel a little more power at high RPM. Really impressive sound at WOT. Very quiet during daily driving. I have not noticed any MPG changes. Satisfied customer."

"I had to modify the heat shield so the hood would close. For the money, it's not so good. Looks kind of cheap. i doubot they tried this on a 2009 Challenger. Also, the instructions had pictures on the install diagram from what looked like a 2005 Charger. The pictures were not very clear, as to where some parts were connected."

"The K&N AirCharger system arrived packed well and with all components. I always check over the parts list before starting to install or build anything. The instructions were easy enough to follow and I really didn’t have to make any inference or guess about how the system gets installed. The fit and quality of parts was good. This unit was being installed on my new Dodge Challenger 3.5 liter engine with less than 500 miles on it.
The only irritating part of the process was associated with putting the edge trim rubber gasket around the heat shield. While not technically difficult, it took a bit of push to get everything secure. It did go on and will stay on, that I am sure of. The unit was in place in about an hour. K&N supplied dynamometer data on their WEB site showing a reasonable performance increase. Doing general driving testing, and after the PCM adjusted for the air volume, the car behaved quite nicely. K&N makes a strong point of using molded plastic for the air pipe in this 63 Series unit. On this engine I agree with their argument, as there was a nice smooth transition from the throttle body diameter to the larger filter air intake. I always wonder if these SEMA components are worth the price I pay for them, but K&N did live up to all their claims. This is a good product that I am satisfied with. A week later I changed the rear valence and installed a cat-back dual exhaust. This was inspired more for appearance than performance, but the combination of the K&N AirCharger and cat-back exhaust really work well together.
The V6 small block 3.5 liter Challenger has a 3.66 rear end and is red lined at 6500 RPM. It likes air and the K&N is more than willing to supply it.

"I have noticed an immediate improvement in the performance of the car and I am happy with the installation and overall
appearance of the kit. Installation was a no brainer but is a very tight fit in the car. Much better than the factory air intake.
The problem I have with this kit is with the actual cost of the kit. For what you get, I just can't believe that it costs so much to manufacture that such a high price is justified. But, as usual, they all have you over a barrel.
Works just fine with my LS3 motor........"

"i have many k&n filter systems on my collection of high end rare cars.
the system i ordered for my 09 challenger r/t 5.7 hemi, was not designed for this particular model and caused me much aggravation while installing it.
the instructions were for other dodge products not this one.
k&n and autoanything were very helpful in resolving these problems, but i should never had to go through all the extra expense and time to acheive my goal."

"I only have 2 negative comments - otherwise I am very happy with the K & N 63 series. The "weather stripping" was difficult to get to bend to shape (it may have been the 20 degree temps when I installed it). The other thing is that it seems to be very close to the inside of the fender (no matter how I tried to adjust it).
I notice more power and am looking forward to getting it to the local drag strip in the spring to truely document the improvements!!!"

"I purchased this system for a 2008 Silverado 5.3 liter and I love it!! Sounds awsome, great price ( nobody came within $30 of the price ), the only flaw I would say is the directions are very very small, and i think they should show more detailed pictures for installation. Install took 1.5 hrs and i did it by my self. I would recommend this product to anyone and it seems to have given me an extra 20 miles per tank also. Will pay for itself within a couple years!!!!"

"Just installed the 63 Series on my 2008 Titan with help. The only pain was that Nissan put a bolt where you have to unplug the windshield fuild tank to get to the bolt. After a good 30 minutes after I figured it out the problem, it only took about 120 minutes to fully install just wished the installation instruction mention the bolt part. But hell it was worth the time I gained about 2 extra MPG if your not gunning the gas at the light :} But with the dual Flowmasters DAAAAAAAAMN is all I can say!"
