Description

Before K&N's latest intake designs become a certified member of their hallowed 57 Series FIPK line, they start as a 63 Series AirCharger. It's what makes the 63 Series Air Intakes some of the most potent and powerful high-flow devices to roll out of the famous K&N factory.

K&N starts every 63 Series Intake with the largest possible Filtercharger cloth filter that will fit your vehicle. Massive airflow runs through this washable, reusable filter for the biggest power gains. Couple that with K&N's crosslink nylon intake tube that runs cooler than a metal pipe, and the 63 Series AirCharger Kit stuffs pure pedal punch right into your power plant.

Best yet, adding this raw power takes less than 90 minutes and requires no drilling or modification. Detailed instructions and a complete hardware kit make this DIY project a breeze. Plus, K&N includes a 10-year/1,000,000-mile warranty with your 63 Series AirCharger Intake Kit. So, why wait? Place your order for raw 63 Series power now.

k&N 63 Series Cold Air System

Posted on 09/05/2007 by Ronnie Q. - 2006 Toyota Tundra (Houston,TX)

"I have had the system installed for about a month now in my 2006 Double Cab Tundra with the 4.7 V-8. Performance is better. But the real increase is in gas mileage while towing, better than 2 mpg increase. That is a 20% increase while towing or about 50 more miles per tank. System will pay for itself quickly. K&N FIPK on F150

Posted on 09/05/2007 by Raul R. (North Las Vegas,NV)

"I recently installed the filter system on my 2000 Ford F150 w/ V6 engine and standard tranny. I had no problem installing the unit simply because of the detailed step-by-step instructions. The sound of the engine roars at about 3500 RPM like a true hi-performance engine. As for the gas mileage, I don't know... I've been flooring it most of the time!!!"

Review of K&N Air Intake kit

Posted on 09/05/2007 by Stuart F. (Jamestown,TN)

"I gained 1 to 1 1/2 MPG HWY but can't tell any difference city. The noise especially when trans down to 3rd gear pulling a hill at 50-65 MPH is really louder than I expected. Happy with the HWY MPG increase but not happy with the loud noise when motor is pulling."

Great kit; Easily installed

Posted on 09/04/2007 by Brad H. (Anderson,IN)

"You have to try to go wrong with the K&N intake kit. The instructions are good; the only thing that took me by surprise was wrapping the rubber seal around the heat shield. In the end it was no big deal. I did notice a little more throtle response. If nothing else it makes my truck sound mean!"

K&N for 2005 Silverado 2500HD

Posted on 09/04/2007 by David L. (Allen,TX)

"Installation was simple. Sounds really good. When you stomp it you know something is under the hood. Absolutely no increase in MPG although nothing short of trimming 1000 pounds off of this truck will increase MPG. Then you would have a 1/2 ton. Not sure about performance, maybe."

Air upgrade

Posted on 09/04/2007 by Richard D. - 2003 Dodge Ram (Littleton,CO)

"This is the single best improvement I could make to my truck towing. Better mileage, more power makes it easier to tow my 4500# travel trailer. I went from 55-60 mph to 65-70; gas mileage from 6 to 8.5. Great!!"

"I got this for my 07 Camry v6. The sound is so deep after 4k rpm till you change the gear you hear it more than exhaust even if the exhaust is after market performance once. It is a good performance upgrade for your car. My car got more aggressive."

2004 CTS-V

Posted on 09/03/2007 by Brian A. - 2004 Cadillac CTS (Maple Grove,MN)

"The product was delivered in a fair amount of time (less than a week). Installation was fairly easy, just make sure you review the installation instructions first. When removing the stock "air box" it became quite clear as to how restrictive it really was! After installing the new AirCharger kit it was obvious the engine was getting A LOT more air. Didn't noticed a major increase in hp, however, I started off with 400hp to begin with. I am pleased with the product knowing my car can breath properly now. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Good value for the money. One more recommendation...I added a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust which also helped. If you allow more air into the engine, you must let it out. That's when you'll notice gains in hp!"

K&N cold air kit!

Posted on 09/02/2007 by Aaron H. (Spring Creek,NV)

"I have a 04' Monte Carlo SS Once I put it in and turned the car on, It has this deep, full bodied sound when you stomp on it! So far the MPG have went up as well as the horse power! But. . . The way the air filter hangs on the air tube puts a lot of strain on the connections. It pulled a part on the rubber boot. One other thing is, there is not enough mounting areas where the CPU is housed. While driving down some what rough roads, I can hear a rattle! It is the front part of the kit. For the most part I am satisfied with my purchase!"

Not fully developed kit

Posted on 09/02/2007 by Matthews G. (Statesboro,GA)

"Installation was quick & easy, however the kit does not seal off the hot air from around the engine well at all! I had to build my own lower seal; afterwhich the air temp was 20 degrees cooler than with the way K&N built the kit. After my changes the performance was better than stock[as measured using a GTech pro device that sticks to the windshield and measures 0-60, g force etc.] 0-60 is now cosistently 5.4 vs the stock 5.6. Highway fuel economy is up about .7 mpg. Worth the investment at least after I completed what K&N should have done to begin with."
