Description

Before K&N's latest intake designs become a certified member of their hallowed 57 Series FIPK line, they start as a 63 Series AirCharger. It's what makes the 63 Series Air Intakes some of the most potent and powerful high-flow devices to roll out of the famous K&N factory.

K&N starts every 63 Series Intake with the largest possible Filtercharger cloth filter that will fit your vehicle. Massive airflow runs through this washable, reusable filter for the biggest power gains. Couple that with K&N's crosslink nylon intake tube that runs cooler than a metal pipe, and the 63 Series AirCharger Kit stuffs pure pedal punch right into your power plant.

Best yet, adding this raw power takes less than 90 minutes and requires no drilling or modification. Detailed instructions and a complete hardware kit make this DIY project a breeze. Plus, K&N includes a 10-year/1,000,000-mile warranty with your 63 Series AirCharger Intake Kit. So, why wait? Place your order for raw 63 Series power now.

subtle but noticeable difference

Posted on 09/11/2007 by Gregory K. (Pittsburgh,PA)

"recently installed the K&N FIPK on my '05 Honda S2000. installation instructions were very good, photos of installation are most helpful. do not notice any difference when idling of course, but when you "punch" it down, there is a subtle but noticeable "growl" under the hood. i feel there is a difference in throttle response, an instantaneous surge. i have not had time to see if there is a difference in gas mileage, that will come with time i am sure. in july i installed the FIPK in my '03 Durango. after weekend trips to bristol then richmond for Nascar, i am glad to announce that i gained 1-1.5mpg in fuel mileage. just thought that i should include this for anyone interested."

Horsepower increase for sure...

Posted on 09/10/2007 by Zak S. - 2005 Chevy Colorado (Manchester,PA)

"Just listening to the sound of your engine with this filter on is worth it, but the added horsepower is nice too. It's hard to stay off the throttle long enough to see the added gas millage, but it's there as well. Great filter."

Posted on 09/10/2007 by Larry W. - 2007 Toyota 4Runner (Lancaster,NH)

"Ok instructions. Don't cover all years exactly. That being said there are few parts to remove and replace. Approximately 1.5 HR. End result. More torque, HP as well as 2mpg increase so far. It makes my 4-runner grunt when you step on it. Worth the money. Larry"

K&N FIPK Air Intake boost

Posted on 09/09/2007 by Wayne P. - 2002 Mini Cooper Mini Cooper (Plano,TX)

"I installed the K&N Air Intake on my 1997 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. Putting the rubber seal on the heat shield was one of the most time consuming parts, but it was worth it. When I took it on the road, I immediately noticed the difference in performance. No more hesitation or bogging. Even at 40 mph in 5th, step on it and it responds. Great product."

Not worth 230.00

Posted on 09/08/2007 by Kevin C. - 2003 Toyota Sequoia (Franklin,TN)

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.

"Purchased the product and and the instructions are not accurate. They forget to put the step for the weatherstripping in. The first step is to connect the electric sensor. If this is done first you spend the whole time working over your engine. Tools, screws go down the hole and just a working nightmare. Connecting the sensor should be last. The screws where all the vacuum hoses go are copper, but guess what, the attachments into those copper screws are plastic. PLASTIC? I spent 2 hours trying to align them with freaking pliers. plastic threads and coppers thread rarely match up.. not good for the money."

I haven't judged the MPG's yet, but the power increase is really all i was looking for! Great product, I'm thinking baout getting another oen ot put into my excursion! p.s. the whistle the intake makes, makes the turbo whistle on the diesel sound even better! i love the sound!"

Very Satisfied.

Posted on 09/07/2007 by Matthew F. - 2007 Nissan Titan (Chandler,TX)

"Installed this intake the other day for my Titan. Titans already are pretty quick trucks but this bumps it up a bit to make it more enjoyable. Was very satisfied with the additional power and the stronger sound it makes when you get into mid/high rpm. Was every bit worth the money. On another note, after checking around, autoanything.com had the lowest price for the intake kit along with free shipping... The shipping was very fast for this and other items I have bought. I will always order everything for my truck through these guys from now on."

Awesome sound

Posted on 09/07/2007 by Kim S. - 2002 Dodge Ram (West Bend,WI)

"Though I was shorted some parts for the mounting hardware, and finally removed whatever was sucked into one of my cylinders during first test drive, the intake makes my truck sound and run awesome. I also have a Superchips programmer which combined with the intake has seriously improved my trucks power. The installation was very easy, only took about 45 minutes. I haven't ran the truck long enough for mileage comparison. Other than having to go and buy extra mounting nuts, I would suggest this product to other Dodge truck owners if they are looking for more power."
