"I recently a K&N intake it to my 03 V8 Explorer, after having one on my 98 Expedition. It's a one-beer job if you don't drop your tools down into the crevices. The engine comes to life with this thing."

"I got this for my 07 Camry v6. The sound is so deep after 4k rpm till you change the gear you hear it more than exhaust even if the exhaust is after market performance once. It is a good performance upgrade for your car. My car got more aggressive."

"The install instructions could have been better. I am satisfied with the deeper sound coming from my engine and it makes my Flowmaster Series 40 muffler even deeper sounding. All-in-all, I would recommend upgrading your intake system."

"I installed this kit on my 5.4L, 99' Lincoln Navigator. I immediately noticed an improvement in my gas mileage...approximaely 2-3mpg better. I also noticed better performance with towing...the engine breathes better and sounds GREAT TOO.!!"

"After careful research, Ipurchased this for my 4.7 liter jeep and was not disapointed. It has very good throttle response and downshifts when cruising under load much less than before. A nice improvement in performance!"

"The product was delivered in a fair amount of time (less than a week). Installation was fairly easy, just make sure you review the installation instructions first. When removing the stock "air box" it became quite clear as to how restrictive it really was! After installing the new AirCharger kit it was obvious the engine was getting A LOT more air. Didn't noticed a major increase in hp, however, I started off with 400hp to begin with. I am pleased with the product knowing my car can breath properly now. Would I recommend it? Absolutely. Good value for the money. One more recommendation...I added a Magnaflow cat-back exhaust which also helped. If you allow more air into the engine, you must let it out. That's when you'll notice gains in hp!"

"I have a 04' Monte Carlo SS Once I put it in and turned the car on, It has this deep, full bodied sound when you stomp on it! So far the MPG have went up as well as the horse power! But. . . The way the air filter hangs on the air tube puts a lot of strain on the connections. It pulled a part on the rubber boot. One other thing is, there is not enough mounting areas where the CPU is housed. While driving down some what rough roads, I can hear a rattle! It is the front part of the kit. For the most part I am satisfied with my purchase!"

"Installation was quick & easy, however the kit does not seal off the hot air from around the engine well at all! I had to build my own lower seal; afterwhich the air temp was 20 degrees cooler than with the way K&N built the kit. After my changes the performance was better than stock[as measured using a GTech pro device that sticks to the windshield and measures 0-60, g force etc.] 0-60 is now cosistently 5.4 vs the stock 5.6. Highway fuel economy is up about .7 mpg.
Worth the investment at least after I completed what K&N should have done to begin with."

"Installation was a breeze and the product is superior to many of it's competitors. There are quality components that give it the proper aesthetics for blending into the engine compartment."

"I found installing the unit very easy. My friend (our mechanic) helped me install it in about an hour. He had just installed one on his truck. The hardest part was getting the rubber trim to go on. We ended up cutting "v's" at the bends. I will see how well the unit works when we haul our horse trailer."

"Before installation I was concerned that it would be too loud; I was agreeably surprised that the noise seemed perfectly normal around low revs, cruising etc. However, above 3500rpm the sound and power really kick in giving a most gratifying "turbocharged" feel. You can really get the extra power in 3rd gear where 60mph comes up much more quickly than stock. The heat shield was not quite the perfect fit, with a bit of a gap between the bottom and the seal provided in the kit, but all in all most satisfactory!"

"The K&N Cold Air Kit I ordered for my boyfriend's 2004 Chevy Avalanche works wonders. It was very easy to install and fit perfect. He also has a K&N Cold Air Kit for his 1995 Chevy Camaro Z28 and has bragged about how much he loves it since he purchased it. I had no problem choosing a birthday gift for him and he could not wait to install it. After I drove it myself, I noticed an increase in power and a new roar about the motor that sounds great."

"I put the Blue Typhoon in a 2005 Eclipse Spyder....20
minutes to remove stock, 60
minutes to install aftermarket. It sounds like a
typhoon coming between 3750
and 6000 RPM's. You can downshift at a little higher
RPM( you can hear the engine
a little better). Horse Power
up a bit( I don't have a DYNO ). Everything was furnished properly. THANKS
K and N ! ! ! Steve"

"Installation is easy took 30 minutes. Fitup is pretty good but was tight on radiator shroud for a 5.3 Liter 2003 Chevy 1/2 ton. I shimmed it with rubber I had around, but others may want to trim the shroud back. Power feels much better as does fuel economy. Planning to chassis dyno in the next few weeks to see improvement since I have a before dyno run to compare it with. I had wanted the kit for a while and would recommend it as a first power adder for people with limited installation experience. Had them before and all worked well."

"Installed the kit in less than 30 minutes in spite of less than perfect directions. The acceleration performance is better, however with a dramatic under the hood noise increase. Top end rev, 4000-5500rpm, is much improved."
