"Installation was pain free. All things told it took about an hour and a half to install. There is a noticeable power increase when you step on it. Sounds great when you step on it, but is nice and quiet at idle. 1 1/2 mpg increase on the first tank. Overall very happy with both the product and the service."

"The installation was easy, the fit was good. With a base of 500hp it is hard to tell if there is a performance improvement without testing which I have not done. Happy with the addition. Sounds good."

"Other than the quick acc. which is cool, This unit tends to cause a stumble in engine r.p.m. while at idle in park. Kinda sounds like a drum when it stumbles. All in all I'm thinking about removing it and re-selling. If it didnt cause a stumble (new car w/ less then 2000miles) Then i'd keep it."

"I like that the FIPK pretty much looks like it belongs under the hood with an otherwise stock 4.7L V8. The sound is nice, but the power increase was minimal. I'll be adding a 3" exhaust and we'll see if we can't free up a few more hp. Overall, the kit is ok; I wouldn't exactly say it's worth the money though."

The kit arrived two days early and that was great. All the good things that have already been expressed are true (shifting, power, and nice sound) - but still holding the jury out on the gas mileage. The install is not bad - but - here are a few tips. There are two differant size clamps !! Each connection is very tight and needs a lot of patience and time to make the proper connection. Even then I had to realy work the over lap areas to get a connection and totally back out the clamps and restart them in order to get them into the proper postion."

"I have virtually no mechanical experience & it only took me 30-45 minutes to install. I have the TRD catback exhaust & the intake increased the sound considerably on hard acceleration. I felt a difference in acceleration espically at highway speeds. 80 up to 95 in no time! No noticable mpg increase yet, but worthwhile investment."

"After I installed to Air Intake System I know a difference in my car's performance and I even heard the air being pulled into my engine. The first thing that can out of my mouth was "yeah man." Now all I need is and exhaust system the provides power but not too much noise. Does anyone have any suggestions?"

"I read most of the reviews before buying and installing. I was able to install in less than 1 hour with this knowledge. I have not noticed any significant increase in power, but my Suzuki Aerio is AWD and tends to hesitate in general. MPG also has no noticeable change. I hope to have more noticeable changes soon."
