Description

Before K&N's latest intake designs become a certified member of their hallowed 57 Series FIPK line, they start as a 63 Series AirCharger. It's what makes the 63 Series Air Intakes some of the most potent and powerful high-flow devices to roll out of the famous K&N factory.

K&N starts every 63 Series Intake with the largest possible Filtercharger cloth filter that will fit your vehicle. Massive airflow runs through this washable, reusable filter for the biggest power gains. Couple that with K&N's crosslink nylon intake tube that runs cooler than a metal pipe, and the 63 Series AirCharger Kit stuffs pure pedal punch right into your power plant.

Best yet, adding this raw power takes less than 90 minutes and requires no drilling or modification. Detailed instructions and a complete hardware kit make this DIY project a breeze. Plus, K&N includes a 10-year/1,000,000-mile warranty with your 63 Series AirCharger Intake Kit. So, why wait? Place your order for raw 63 Series power now.

"I have an 07 F150 with a 5.4 litre motor and wanted the CAI for more horsepower and possible better fuel mileage. I chose the K&N because I have heard good things and have had them in the past. The instructions for the kit are well put together, but the pictures should be bigger. If you do not have much experience working on vehicles, then make sure you have plenty of time and maybe even some help from someone more experienced. As far as the power goes, this kit will definitely help. The motor reacts more quickly and sounds much better. Mileage has improved, too. I think that I have had a 2-3 mileage avg. increase on the freeway and 1-2 avg. increase in town. This kit works, and I recommend it."

"I installed the BBK CAI on my 06 Mustang GT and wasn't pleased. I removed it because it kicked out a code and I didn't want to re-tune. I heard K&N didn't need a re-tune. Installation was not the easiest and I passed on the tube support part. Anyway, this CAI is kick-butt. I instantly noticed a change in performance and OH THAT SOUND. It now SNARLES! I've always replaced OEM filters with OEM K&Ns in all my cars and have been very pleased. This CAI by K&N keeps me a believer."

"The directions are horrible and the install on a Escalade isn't as straight forward. The install requires you to drill a 5/8" hole in metal which isn't a drill bit size most will have handy to attach filter box. The clamps provided are little to small for the Escalade throttle body and mass air flow sensor and required the use of stock clamps, wasn't a big deal but would been nice that instructions would of informed me prior to messing with it for 15mins. The sound and performance gain defiantly worth install problems. Would recommend"

"I think the new air filter sounds good, at least for a 4 cyl. anyway. It doesn't make the car sound loud and noisey like people do with their imports. Don't get me wrong, it's definately louder but it doesn't sound bad. Installation wasn't too bad. Some of the pictures weren't too clear on what to do but it wasn't too difficult. The worst part was tightening the clamps by the engine. Definately use a socket wrench to tighten those clamps and not a screw driver. Also becareful not to tighten the plastic valve too tight, I broke mine, called K&N and they shipped one to me next day for free. I recommend to anyone."

"This is a fairly simple mod with decent results on my '06 Mustang GT. You can instantly hear the difference. Acceleration was helped a bit and is noticeable. A little smoother, but not overwhelming. I now have pretty much the same performance as the "Bullitt". The text of instructions was OK, but the pictures were terrible. Overall I recommend it and it is a pretty good value and looks good as well."

"This went on a 2007 Grand Cherokee with 5.7 Hemi. I've had several K&N intakes in the past and this one was as easier than any of them I've put on. The instructions were better than the previous ones, or maybe I just knew what I was doing from past installations. It is surprisingly quiet when I "get on it" compared to the others, but it does seem to result in a little more performance at the top end of the rpm curve. This, along with a change to a 3" exhaust seems to give me an improvement in performance and mileage. The sound alone was worth the money!"
