"I think AEM is one of the best brands. I think the part that I bought was WAY over priced. All it is is a 5-6 inch bent pipe with a filter on it. $200.00+ is too much for that. Right now I have the engine light on. Back when I bought AEM CAI for my Eclipse, there was a lot more piping making it worth the $200.00+. The quality of what I received was top notch, as always. Just have to figure out how to get that check engine light to go out."

"This is by far the best bang for the buck if you would like more power from your engine without worrying about C.A.R.B. or any warrenties. A bit hard to install in my car but it was worth it"

"The Cobalt SS intake is short but powerful. That thing really sucks in the air. It's got a great sound to it. If you listen close, you can hear it whistlin' Dixie! Woohoo!"

"Over all the quality and the fit and finish of the product was good. It sounds and works great on my 2006 Mazda 6 and with the non-oiled dry flow filter it won't damage my mass air-flow sensor which was my main concern."

"I knew that the AEM cold air intake system would make a difference but I didn't think it would be too big of one. My car accelerates faster and the sound I get from the cold air intake is amazing. It also looks nice with your engine. If you want a cold air intake, go with AEM...it's the only option."

"gives the engine a nice growl and a little more pep when the rpm's are up. Not sure if my gas mileage is any better though, as I've been having too much fun racing the engine!"

"This CAS is awesome, you can actually see a difference in performance. The sound it makes at mid range RPM is titalating, and entices you to romp on the accelarator. I will be getting other CAS for my other cars for AEM."

"i like the results from the product in terms of the sound quality, both inside and outside the car. it make it a much less "ricer" sound, and more of a muscular v-6 v-8 sound, what i dont like is the difficuty to install on my SPECIFIC vehicle, air intakes are generly easy and this one had me goin through 2 packs of cigs in 2 hours!! but overall it has impressivie results, specialy tourqe at 5000 rpms and the HP at 8000 rpms"

AEM Intake for Yaris more power less MPG

"I installed the AEM Cold Air Intake a few weeks ago. I was impressed by the extra power but disappointed with the decrease in MPG. I went from 35 in city to 33.5. I have 205/55 Yoko Avid V4 tires on my car which reduced the mileage from 37 to 35. I bought the CAI with the thought that it would improve my mileage. If I really baby the gas pedal I can get 34.5 out of it. The extra power comes in handy when accelerating and getting on the freeway. Also the instructions were very clear and installation was about 90 minutes."

AEM CAI for an '05 Acura TL

"Excellent product! Easy installation via the included instructions. The instructions were 100% clear and 99% complete (there was not enough info concerning the forward, hidden resonator mounting bolt, but an extra 20 minutes of cogitating figured it out). As we have no emissions or CARB testing in Texas, I relocated the IAT sensor to the AEM CAI, and that was worth another 10 hp! I chassis dynoed the set-up before and after installation, and including the IAT relocation, the AEM CAI installation provided a measured 19 hp increase! And the sound! No doubt about the engine breathing much more freely! Again, I'm totally pleased! Kudos to AEM for a well-engineered product!"

"i paid around 290 for my intake on AutoAnything on a sunday and it arrived that same wednesday. it looks/sounds very nice. it makes my car have a little roar to it and this nice "pssshhh" sound when you give it a little gas. overall a great product!"

"Easy to install, about 1 1/2 hrs to install. I got the long so I can pull as much cold air (fresh) from the wheel well and beleive me this baby goes right into the wheel well so no engine block heat is gonna get to it, also I don't have to worry about sucking water cause it sits up high, but big water puddles I will still avoid. It is so well encased in the well that the only problem I can see is the cleaning of the filter cause it so nicely tucked away. A little thunder under the hood now but this just the beginning"
