Description

Get your intake system running cool as can be with the AEM Cold Air Intake. Thanks to a custom design that locates the filter outside the engine compartment, AEM Cold Air Intakes rush cooler air straight into your sport compact like no other intake setup can.

The AEM Cold Air Intake starts with innovative AEM Dryflow filter technology, feeding faster, cooler air through the mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe. That intake pipe is a stunner, too—most AEM Cold Air Intakes come with your choice of a Blue, Red, Silver or Polished finish.

Thanks to detailed instructions and AEM’s soft-mount hardware kit, installing the AEM Cold Air Intake is a breeze. All you need are standard tools and about an hour to start feeling the extra horsepower and torque. Best yet, AEM stands behind your AEM Cold Air Intake with a Lifetime Warranty. Order today, and have the coolest-running, coolest-looking sport compact on the block.

Notes

  • Emissions-related parts for new model year vehicles may be in "pending" status for C.A.R.B. exemption. Earning exemption status takes time, but will be complete before your new vehicle's first smog check.

"The instructions were good but not perfect. Don't put the filter on last. Put the filter on the lower pipe and then you can push it upward from below. Also, remove more of the engine cover below and you will have more room to work with especially after removing the lower air duct and resonator. I also did not have to rotate the HID Headlight controller. There was plenty of room to spare without rotating it. Everything else in the install instructions was good and it was a breeze to install. Performance wise, I really notice a better response at all speeds but especially when I gun it between the 4k and 5k rpm range. I did that going up a mountain and I was passing everybody. Outstanding air intake. I would recommend this intake to anybody."

"Good product overall. Took me about 45 min to install start to finish. Directions from AEM are good with pics to help. It looks great under the hood and sounds awesome once you get up to the 4K RPM level with the engine. This is my first mod on my Z, the performace and sound was noticeable. A little quicker throttle response in the mid-range and top-end of the RPM band."

AEM Cold Air Intake - 2009 Toyota Yaris

"Instructions took you through the process step-by-step. Took some time though, make sure you have the right tools (metric sockets, allen wrenches, car jack(under driver's seat), lug wrench, etc). Taking apart/reinstalling the under-fender parts was a bit tricky & some of the parts you have to unbolt were in tight places and often difficult to get loose (try to avoid stripping bolts). I put silicone around the headlight to ensure no water leaks through on rainy days. Product has a nice appearance, but there was no real sound difference or noticeable horsepower increase (so in my opinion not really worth the $$ spent on the system). Overall, just a fun project for my Dad & I could work on."
