"the intake came faster than i expected it to. i ordered it on weds night and it was here friday (i was expecting next monday or so). i got the color to match with my car and it definitely sounds nice, esp near redline. installation wasn't too big of a pain since i already had the resonator taken out. but overall, i love it."

"After I got my AEM Short Ram Intake System, my car sounded better than ever. It has such great flow, that you can hear it sucking in air when you get on it! Not only did it give me more midrange power, but it improved my gasmilage too."

"I really enjoy the intake for my car. I also couldn't believe that it came in the mail next day. That was awesome. But it's a great product, although the price did go up from the different times I was looking at them. Your company was the cheapest by $10 or so dollars, but when I went to order the price went up to what everyone else was offering. But I like your company so I choose you guys."

"I had a weapon R dragon intake before but the bracket is on the plastic filter and it kept breaking. The bracket on the AEM is much better and the fit was pretty good. Only thing is the hose mount on the intake should match the mount on the engine so the hose would fit better. It also sticks up a little higher than most so if you have an upper strut bar beware."

"Installation was extremely easy. Without having actual numbers, I cannot tell a power difference, but I do like the slight growl it makes. If nothing else, it enabled me to remove the oem bulky intake to create a little more open space under the hood thereby allowing a little more airflow to the exhaust manifold and lowering the under hood temperatures slightly."

"I found this a fairly easy to install kit for a novice. Took me about 1 hour to complete. The kit was not what I would call a precise fit in a couple areas. The air breather hose was very snug connecting to the engine because the supplied hose was of the same diameter on both ends when it needed to step up to a larger size for placement on the engine. It's a minor issue, but the OEM hose does this so I don't understand why they would not supply the correct hose. Substiting the OEM hose wasn't an option as it wouldn't be able to reach the AEM intake pipe. It took considerable effort to get it far enough on for it to seat correctly. Also the mounting bracket is about 1/2 inch shorter than it needs to be for a good placement on the engine mounting hole. Despite those issues I found the install fairly simple and with a little effort all parts installed properly and securely. The engine now sounds a throatier at higher RPMs as the OEM parts were dampening much of the engine noise coming from the air intake. I have noticed improved acceleration, however, I haven't yet determined if I have had any fuel mileage increase as I only recently installed this item."

"Everything was fine it's just that fitment was off (mounting bracket) it doesn't line up correctly, but I'm pretty sure that's on my part because I have a Y7 with a Y8 IM but I don't think that should affect fitment."
