"my aem was perfect I got a nice little gain with it. I already had hp racing headers and a greddy evo 2 it screams louder now. This is a most get product if you want more power with out spending alot of money. Thanx Auto Anything."

"First off, I love the sound it sound it creates when step on the gas. It's an awesome feeling. Also, the pickup added is very noticeable. It was so easy to install thanks to the directions that came with it. I had installed after only a couple of hours. I'd recommend this intake to anybody."

"In installed the AEM Short Ram on our 99 Honda Accord LX. The only difficult thing on this vehicle was having to adjust the A/C lines and bend them a little so that the intake tube would not rest right on top of them. Other than that, the whole kit took about 25 minutes or less to install...snug fit too under the hood. As a plus, I installed a dry flow filter from AEM onto my K&N intake on my jeep as well. Works BETTER!"

"Great price for the perormance upgrade, Cheapest performance upgrade possibly .Could tell an instant increase of power through the whole RPM range, less lag at lower RPM's. Dissapointed that Aem for tiburon doesn't come with a tube though."

"After installing the AEM short ram, I notice a significant amount of pickup especially in the lower end gears. Paired up with the Borla exhaust it makes for a deep sound that impresses people around and turn heads. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking to purchase a short ram intake."

"Having not done an install on one of these prior, I made sure I had a Chiltons manual for the 91 accord I was working on. The instructions were not real clear with the astericks next to vehicles that would pertain to you or not, but after re-reading it a few times I became more aware of that, and that eliminated most of my questions.
If I were to do this again in this vehicle I could have the thing installed in 20 minutes tops. Took a couple of hours to do, just making sure of everything. Noticed a definite surge at higher speeds, and a nicer throatier sound than before."

"This is the first intake I've bought. The tube seems to be made very well. The short ram installed with little trouble, and there were no clearance issues. One thing I didn't like was the rubber grommet that holds the IAT sensor. It looks like a 5 cent off-the-shelf item, but it functions. You can't shove the sensor in or the grommet will fall through. You have to lightly twist it when inserting. Also, when fastening the other small rubber hose assy. to the port that stands off, make sure it's pushed on all the way, or it will slip off. (I think the stand-off should have been slightly longer, but no big deal) Now that it's seated and tight, it works just fine. The filter assy. looks to be made well, with no issues there.
The performance difference is very noticable, but takes getting used to. The torque hump at about 2700 rpm is flatter, but off the line it pulls harder. At high rpm (4k-6k) performance is better too.
It's not for the you if you like quiet and stealthy. The short ram has growl that grows louder as rpm increases, particularly when ivtec kicks in. I built a heat shield that took the edge off noise, in addition to cooling things down. Despite my nitpicks, it has been working well so far. I'd buy it again."
