"I used this AEM short ram intake in combination with a Borla cat-back exhaust system. Intake makes a very noticeable whoosh sound when throttle is pressed, then the Borla makes a most noticable growl on the other end. Not a combination for the faint of heart. Pedestrians and other drivers will think you are some kind of street racer. The short ram takes up very little space under the hood. Item is very well finished. I can't tell for sure if it gave me any extra horsepower unless I dyno test it, but it sure made my driving a whole lot more fun."

"I put an AEM short ram intake on my '99 accord and immediately could tell a difference. My car idles under 1000 rpms where it used to idle at about 1500, and gas mileage increased a pretty good amount. Highly recommended."

"very easy to install... only about 20 minutes. sounds awesome under acceleration, and can now hear the turbo much better. small gain in horsepower but a good bang for your buck"

"The intake was very easy to install. It gives a better sound than my whiney OEM intake. I usually drive pretty far and make 400 mile trips every other month, and I did notice that I saved a bit more on fuel this time around with the new intake. The power boost was a bit noticable around the higher 3000 RPM range, but nothing too special (intakes don't give a real significant boost in HP or fuel economy anyways). Overall, I received the package very quickly, it's great to look at, and the price with AutoAnything is the best I've found anywhere so far."

"I purchased this intake a few weeks ago and this thing is good. The sound is great in my integra gs-r... when the v-tec kicks in it makes a big whoosh sound and you can feel the power it makes. The best performance part I have purchased for the money."
