"Yeah it was shiny alright. that blue color glistening in your eyes right whne you unwrapped it from the packaging. the price was the cheapest of all times with $98.95 i think it was. but the only problem is that there was not license plate frame that came with it. and another problem was that it had a dent under the intake which didnt bother me as much as long as i didnt see it when it was installed. but other than that the shipping was fast and prompt. their customer service on the phone was excellent. i would shop with these guys again just dont send me anymore dent products."

"Man, this was a horrible decesion on my part. The intake is amazing but the instructions were darker than black can ever get. I could not see what was going on in the picture. I had to run to ACE Hardware to get my own screws to mount the engine sensor piece back to the intake. The screws they gave me were short in length and also missing the nuts that go on the other end. It was horrible and i was very dissatisfied with my purchase. This is probably the last time i shop at AutoAnything because they dont give you EVERYTHING. Peace."

2005 Mazda 6i AEM SRI

"The installation was ok, considering, it didn't provided me with the correct parts. I had to buy a hose that connects from the engine to the intake after I took out the damn stock box. The performance is like a 2 percent gain. Overall the only thing I like about it is the sound."

"I noticed the power increase immediately in my dual intake Nissan 350Z! When I accelerate, my "Z" now has a deep "Growl" sound through the rpm band that is awesome! I highly recommend the AEM Short Ram Intakes for all 2007 "Dual Intake" 350Zs! Randy"

"Anyone who wants that little extra power when ya need it most should get this intake. I installed it in about 45 minutes and it instantly gives you more power when ya open up the throttle. I've also noticed that my gas mileage for normal driving has increased. My car now drives like a tuner car and I love it!"

"I replaced a cheap RAI I bought off of EBAY, and the results were awesome. AutoAnything was a rad company to deal with, cheap and fast shipping. AEM on the other hand were not. My kit was missing parts (nothing big, breather hose and clamps,vacuum seals) talked to them 5 times and still didn't get the parts. I had to get them myself at the local parts store. So 2 thumbs up to AutoAnything and the AEM RAI, 2 thumbs down to AEM customer service."

"Well the AEM Intake system is alirght. My car doesn't sound all that much better until it hits high revs. Power wise I seem to have less power in higher gears especially 4 & 5 nothing compared to my stock intake. Gave me a cheap filter I had to go get a better one, poor instructions. Overall not impressed."

"The AEM short ram intake is a nice mod for my car. The instructions you provided were very clear and easy to follow. I have the Ion Redline, so it was a bit demanding to install but I survived and it seems to be working (knock on wood). Mine is the red color which I like very much. All in all, a great product at a reasonable price."

"I have no complaints with the hardware itself, it's wonderful. My kit arrived without some parts, as well as a parts list, so I had to call AEM. The guys I talked to seemed unknowledgable and I had to read the instructions to them over the phone to prove what parts I needed. They said I would get the parts by the end of the week...still haven't recieved them. I went out and bought what I needed and finished the install anyway."

"The AEM air intake i bougth was freash out of the box and installation was a breeze, just 15 mins, and that was because we didnt have any light outside because it was at night so imagine installing it during the day. Great sound afterwards, more power and im now more happy with the results ! thanks AEM ANd Autoanything for your fast Shipping!"

"Very easy to install and looks great under the hood as well. I may have gained 9whp in the 5000rpm range. Throttle response has improved as well. But what im most impressed with is the SOUND. It made my 4 cylinder b18b1 engine in my 98 Integra sound better than most v8s! A very deep, throaty sound that'll turn heads."

"The system was easy to install except for one of the vacuum lines, about 2 hours. It sounds awesome when revving. You can really hear it sucking air. I do not know if my power or mileage increased, but I am very happy with the system. Knowing that the filter is easy to clean and that I do not have to worry about adding to much or to little oil is what really sold me on the AEM system. I just hope that AEM would make more applications for my other vehicles."

"I installed this SRI on my 00 subaru 2.5RS. It did pretty much what I expected it to do by giving my engine a very throaty sound when it gets past 3k and i can sort of tell a little horsepower boost when it gets up in the RPMs. Gas mileage is slightly better but no big change. all and all a good buy"
