"I just finished installing, it took about 40 minutes. The directions that came with it were slightly difficult to understand at first but once you looked under the hood it all made sense. Have only driven it for about 20 minutes so far so it is impossible to notice mileage change and i can't quite tell if there is any extra pick up(intregra gsr). It does sound nice once it surpasses 4000rpm's. The only downside to it is that I'm going to be a lot more tempted to slam the gas because it sounds so good."

"Installation was relatively easy. My car's hoses are stiff and brittle so it took some elbow grease to get everything connected. The aesthetics of this intake make it worth the price, in my opinion. The shiny red and chrome look really nice under the hood. The performance gains are hard to gauge since I installed it at the same time as my exhaust. But the sound is noticeably different. It's less whiny and sounds like it's breathing deeper."

"Overall the product is great. It has great sound and I noticed a difference in power. The installation was fairly easy. The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 was because theres a whistling noise."

"The AEM short ram air intake improved my mileage a bit, improved power a bit, and improved the sound of the motor under throttle greatly. And I never have to buy a new air filter again. Install is a snap. Well worth the cash. But beware: the manufacturer has not advertised the product correctly. On several sites, this product is described as having a mandrel-bent tube to place the intake filter near the grille and away from engine heat. Not so. There is no tube."

AEM intake for 02 civic

"The AEM short ram intake was a very easy install. The bracket that bolts on to the transmission didn't match up the greatest but a little jimmy-rigging did the trick. I can feel the slight difference in horsepower and it makes the engine sound great. Better gas mileage too! I would recommend this product to anyone."

"not bad at all..makes my car sound a little "cooler"..a little bit better throttle response as a lot of people have said..my MPG has seemed to improve a good amount..i made it aprox 197 miles on a half tank with city and highway driving combined"

"Auto Anything had the cheapest listing for this short ram intake that I could find. Except ebay but I dont like check engine lights so I bought the right kit. Aem gives serious mpg increaces and the same roaring sound as my 427 impala when you stand on the gas."

"It took 4 days for me to recieve the package and only took about 40 min to install. instructions were really detailed you just have to look at the pictures carfully so you dont have to do things twice like my self. Improved pickup, MPG went from 24 to 28 with "heavy" speeding. Deff recommend for anyone looking for preformance and better gas milage!"
