"I bought the AEM short ram intake for my subaru impreza. It sounds 10 times better, and gives it a little better gas milage. Overall for the price I paid at autoanything it was a sound investment."

"Took only 20 minutes to install on my Eclipse, much better throttle response and mpg went from 24ish-27ish. The sound is great combined with my magnaflow exhaust. Worth every cent."

"I installed this in about 90 minutes (including replacing the plugs). Instructions were right on. I had to shorten one hose about 1 inch to fit properly. Deep throaty sound when you accelerate hard, but nice and quite when you are just cruising. Big improvment during acceleration especially below 65 mph. Much faster off the line. About .5 mpg increase noted on first tank (87 octane), 4 stars only because I was hoping for better mpg around town. I highly recommend it."

"Its hard to stop driving now, the AEM short ram intake is really worth every penny. What I love about it, is the kick and the angry lion sound it gives my acura TL. IT took me about 30-45 mins to install. Its a great product and AUTOANYTHING price was great. Keep up the excellent job of selling quality products."

"I bought and installed the AEM Short Ram Intake System on my 1999 Mazda Miata. The intake came with adequate instructions that made the removal of the OEM system and the installation of the new system a snap. I removed the old intake and installed the new one in just about an hour. Even better than the installation ease was the impact the system had on my car. The system gave the car an agressive "growl" sound during hard acceleration. This gives the driver the sensory perception that the the car is sportier and more powerfull. The actual effect on acceleration was noticeable as well. The car is appreciably more responsive and quicker under hard acceleration. The system is not going to make the Miata blow you back into your seat, however, the fun factor of driving the car is significantly enhanced by this product. I am glad I bought it."

"It works great, sounds great, and I might have about 2mpg better in my integra LS. Took about 30 minutes max. One thing that I do have to complain about is that during installation my hoses did line up after some extra effort, but now my distributor wiring on the back of the dist. is dangling off the clip. It wouldnt fit otherwise. None the less, Would buy again for sure."

"I got this intake for my 2005 Mazda 6s. It was a really easy install, and only took about 45 minutes. The effects were immediately noticed. It sounds great, and has also added more gas milege. I have noticed a slight increase in performance too, as my car is a tiny bit quicker off the line."

"Myself and a friend installed the short ram on my 2001 Eclipse 6 cyl. We followed the instructions and they were right on the money. It took us longer to pull off the factory parts. Total time for the install was 35 minutes. After driving for a couple of days I noticed that the power band had increased and my gas mileage went up about 1.5 mpg. I am very satisfied. Bonus: my car sounds better also."

"when i push gas petal in a 1/2 in. or so I hear a strange whistle noise i don't know way it makes thats noise? I think it might be the air censer but I don't know I hope someone could tell me what it is and how to fix it but other then that its a great intake system Thanks"
