"Once coming in the mail, it was packed very well, no need to worry about damaging the intake. My short blue ram was shiny, and awesome electric blue. taking off the old intake, not a problem. And installing the short AEM ram was extremely easy. looks very sweet, and sounds good, not loud nor quiet. adds a good egine dress up to your vehicle, especially my integra. Definitely worth buying: cool noise, nice looks, and added HP."

"i put this into my 02 mazda protege and man can you feel the difference. my 0-60 time went from 10seconds to 8 seconds and my top speed went up abou 4 mph. i recomend this product to anybody who wants a good boost in performance for a cheap price"

"I did alot of research on intakes and settled on this one. AutoAnything had the best price I could find. I installed it in my 97 LS integra in about 45 minutes. From the time I started the car I could hear the intake sucking in the air. When I drove the car i noticed a nice improvement in throttle response and the car revved faster. It also brings out the awesome sound of the engine, and gets real loud under hard acceleration. Great product."

"I installed the AEM short ram intake in my 2000 BMW 323i, install took 20 minutes and it was a easy. I do notice a different sound when i really slam on the gas pedal, a kind of higher pitched racing engine noise but not especially louder just a different timbre to the sound of the engine... its cool i do like it. there is a slight but noticeable improvement to the HP and overall acceleration, nothing to write home about but considering this item pays for itself in increased gas efficiency i recommend anybody to install one or a comparable brand like K+N."

"It is an amazing intake. It only took me about 40 minutes to put it on. The sound is raw power and my acceleration increased, but i havent seen a big deal on gas mileage. Matched up great with my V-tech engine."

"I had Infiniti G35 with K&N typhoon before, and it was giving me a little trouble so I took it out later.When I got AEM SRI for my TSX, i was like what was i thinking? but once I installed, there was no trouble with stock set up and it was all good. I makes good sucking sound around 3k~4k. The Car seems response more quicker. The filter was dry filter and I like that better because there is no oil. The oil one gets dirty easy and have to reapply oil. The AEM really put there mind into build one of kind best intake ever. I am looking forward to buy another AEM SRI for my next new car."

"When I opened the box, I was somewhat skeptical because I did not realize how small the Short Ram Intake actually is. Once I installed it, which was VERY easy and only 30 minutes, I immediately noticed a better response and better sound under the hood. I'm thinking about buying one for my Maxima."

"It was a good buy, like on my 01 civic it was a nice 6.6hp addition. It has a good sound and theres a little less lag when I get on it. Overall it was a good buy."

"The AEM Short Ram intake was easy to install. It took me about 45 minutes, and all the necessary parts, bolts, etc. were included. The instructions have no diagrams, so it took just a little bit of common sense to figure it all out. It looks great under the hood, and I feel that the car is more responsive when I hit the accelerator. I have not dyno-tested, so I can't say how much power it actually adds, but the filter is good quality, never needs oil, and is washable, so that in of itself was a big plus."

"Purchaced for my SE-R. Installation took about an hour, but the results were worth it. The sound is awsome! The only problem was the service engine light stayed on while I was driving for about a week, but that light does not turn on while driving anymore. Definitely would puchace for future vehicles."

"I have a Acura Integra LS 97'. It fit perfectly! It was very easy to install, my acura was a bit .. annoying.. 1 of the bolts to the only airbox is in a very bad spot so i ended up just ripping it out. But the intake its self is awesome. Deffintly worth the money. I dont know about gas milage or much power but the rawr is amazing. When i shift at 3rpms (normal driving) my car seems so dead, so i get it up to the 4rpm+ to get my intake rocking. GOOD PRODUCT, GOOD SHIPPING, and GOOD Customer service. Deffintly buy from here again!"

"This is my second AEM intake system. Both are aesthetically pleasing and have great sound. The intake for the RSX-S by design created more HP than the one for my TSX, however I did notice more response over stock. My only complaint is that fitment could be better making installation easier."
