"This is the CAI to have if you are a Civic owner with the B18 engine. Extremely well made and not too difficult to install. Some owners are having to cut the inner fender liner to make it fit properly while others are not. Injen needs to redesign the lower piping so it clears the fender liner on a consistent basis. Definite improvement in 1st gear take-off and it really growls when you hit VTEC. Shipping could have been faster on my order but I understand backorders for this item are the norm. Bottom line, this one is in my FG1 to stay and the AEM CAI is up for sale. Any questions?"

"My engine can finally breathe. it was like it was being choked before i put the intake on. it sounds awesome and i can definately tell the difference in driving. if you are going to get a short ram intake, make it this one."

"I put the Injen system on and noticed the RPM are lower and after the first tank of gas the milage was 2 miles a gal. better. so in the long run at today gas prices it will pay for it self in no time. GREAT !!!"

"Been in auto biz since 1979, from apprentice Tech to Service manager. I have never been one to modify,until recently. I had a little exhast work done and installed air intake system,if I keep my foot out of the throttle I touch on a 3 mile per gallon increase in fuel economy. 8.1 gallons 200 miles. Thanks Jerry"

"The low end torque still isn't there like I want it to be, but once you get the RPM's up there you can really start to feel it pull. I bet my gas mileage is better too but it is hard to tell when you always want to mash on the gas just to hear the sound of the air getting sucked into the engine. That sound is awesome. All in all a very good buy and you don't have to worry when it gets smogged because it is street legal."

"This intake delivers on its promise and gives about 5whp the entire length of the curve starting at around 3800rpm to redline... THe fitment is terrible however. The rubber elbow I got did not line up properly. When I attempted to get it to fit better, my vibra-mount broke off in under 100 miles. Other intakes for teh Si such as the K&N have none of these fitment problems."

"Received the intake in a short amount of time and had great customer service from autoanything. The intake was a pretty simple install and the effects afterward was amazing. At idle it seems like stock but once you hit the 3k and up rpm range it shows its true colors. It's amazingly loud when you floor it and you can feel the pull from a stop. It's a great upgrade for the price."

"This is a great addition to your car. It has impressive gains for a SRI and is of very well build and design. The install is fine if your mechanically inclined and everything is included for the install (except tools). What I really love about the SRI is the gains come in the 3K-6K range which is used for everyday driving, having that extra bump in power is great for highway driving and city driving. Above 6K rpm in VTEC, this thing screams and gets you going quickly. I highly recommend this mod. No CEL or ECU issues at all."

"So after much research I found that Injen made a Cold Air Intake for my civic, it was just disguised by Autoanything.com as the Short Ram Intake. The "Base Model Civic" option is not a SRI for the non-si civic, but actually the Cold Air Intake. It was a much lower price than anywhere else that I found, and Injen is supposed to have higher horse power gains than any other CAI for the 06 Civic (non-Si)"

Great Intake

"I purchased the Injen Intake for the new 2006 Civic EX Coupe (SP1569) and it's awesome. I feel a noticeable boost in power (haven't dyno'd yet)and the sound is nice. During low RPM's, it's hardly noticeable but once you hit 3000 and above, it has a deep growl that doesn't sound obnoxious. You go above 4500 rpm's it get's even louder but still has the deep growl. Got it for a great price from autoanything as well and reveived it only 3 days after I placed the order!"

"The instructions were easy to follow, the hardest part was taking out the stock filter. I get better gas mileage if i take it easy, around 4mpg, but when i floor it in each gear i get around the same gas mileage. **tight fit in a 2000 mercury cougar"

"The Short Ram Intake was very easy to install on my 2004 Honda Element. All the parts were there and the workmanship is excellent. I would review your installation instructions as they tell you to remove the front bumper which is not neccessary. What is required is to remove the battery. Very nice sound. I have not seen any gas milage savings as I keep my foot on the gas just to hear the sound. Two of my friends have already ordered theirs."
