"Made a nice increase and the unit is well made. Way to many hose clamps for my taste. Made a nice difference in power but it is quite a bit louder then the stock box. At certain RPM the drone is hideous and makes you want to back off the gas to avoid the noise. Unit is well made and good looking though."

"This intake has a clean look when installed. Some of the other aftermarket intakes are a bit too 'ricey' looking, but the S&B has a smooth look, that you would think would cost much more, BUT IT COSTS LESS!! The value here is the most incredible part, over $100 less than the top competitors. Also this intake hosts great performance numbers, but the actual filtering efficiancy is far superior to the competition."

"the s&b cold air intske was eazey to instal. it only took about 45 min. incredibal throdle responce. pulling power increased. milage while pulling increased about 1mpg. milage while just driving increased about 2.5 to 3mpg. very happy with my purches."

"Very easy to install. This was a great addition of my vehicle. I already have the Edge Juice w/ Attitude. Now I just need to get rid of the DPF and EGR cooler and I will be set. A friend did all of the above to his and is getting 23 mpg @ 75 mph on the highway, compared to the 15 mpg stock."

"Overall, very good product. I had to cut approximately 3 inches off of my stock intake tube to make an adaptor for the MAF sensor. There was no direct attachment point for this. I also installed a Poweraid Throttle body spacer and the two fit well together. Great sound and performance for the product."

"(2004 F150 4.6 V8 new body style) Intake looks and sounds great and does what it says. However on the box the holes to mount the sensor to the box weren't precise and required slight modification so the installation took a little over an hour. You can definitely hear the difference especially under WOT. Seems to make the engine kick down for passing easier and winds through the gears somewhat better. Noticeable difference in response. Overall I am glad i got it. Gas mileage i haven't noticed an increase but i have had a lead foot here lately :)"

"I can really the engine is getting more air because of response time. It is cool to hear the air flowing. So far I have not checked to see how much it helps fuel mileage and such."

"Installed easy, Quick shipping, overall went well, I have 5" turbo back exthaust and i expected to gain more MPG. I only gained about .5 but the spool up response is better. I need a chip to take full advantage of the intake and exhaust."

"installing the kit was easy the instructions came with colored pictures to follow. The plastic piece that fits on the turbo was a little tricky to get on at first, there's not alot of room to work. Driving wise its awesome, the turbo spools up alot faster and you can actually here the turbo spool which i like to hear. Gas mileage i havent been able to keep my foot out of the peddle since the install. Great product definelty would recommend to anyone!!!!!"

"replaced stock intake in 99 ford 350 diesel with banks setup. was starving for air, but the turbo whines now. Mine is an early 99, this model works well for early or late 99. not many units on the market work for the early 99's."

"I installed my S&B looking for an increase in fuel mileage. I don't drive my truck too much, so the results are still unknown. But initially it looks as if the mileage actually went down, but further testing is needed. Fit and looks are excellent."

"This is the second cold air intake I have purchased. The only thing I did not like was that you have to drill a hole for the factory air filter sensor. I like the fact that the element is not directly exposed to any battery fumes. Caviat: All CAIs are noisy, escecially throttling up in lower rpms. Overl a good product."

"I have only had it installed for about two weeks. The is a noticeable increase in power in the pedal. fuel milage apeara to have increase a little, haven't gone on any long trips yet. Installation took about 45 minutes without any problems. The only thing that was not included that was supposed to be was the torx-20 driver. The price seemed to be very reasonable compared to the other kits that are available and the appearance of performance of this one are more than comparable."

"Had the K&N, swapped the the S&B due to better dyno results. Love the roar and immediate throttle response. If there's and increase in gas mileage, I would know. Can't keep my foot out of it."
