"I have noticed a difference in gas mileage and throttle response since i installed my intake. Instructions were ok, where universal and didnt fully explain installation on my application. I also had to drill a hole in plastic tube for sensor. The unit is plastic, which at first i thought was a bad idea, but turned out nice. it also didnt come with a cover for intake box (description of model said it did). With all that said the s and b system was a deal for the price and does its job under the hood. Just dont expect it to have the quality look of a k and n or some of your other brands. u get what u pay for."

"cant beat it for the price. good power gains, sound, and looks. no improvement on mpg though. just wish the intake tube was a little thicker and that the filter was a dry type, but thats just if i wanted to be picky. just make sure you disconnect the battery, i didn't because i thought it was just a useless saftey step and when i drove it, it had no power. turns out that you disconnect the power so that when you start your truck up it resets its parameters according to the new intake....ooopppsss!!!!! 4.6 liter, auto, ext. cab, 2 wheel drive"

"This is an awesome product. Very easy to install. It came with very detailed instructions. It took about 45 min to install with very little tools. I would recommend this filter to everybody. Not much on MPG gain but definitely woke up the turbo. A++++"

"Shipping was excellent. placed order on monday and recieved friday. Installation seriously only took about 35 minutes, and was a 1 person job. It looks good under the hood as well. I HAVE seen a slight increase in gas milage. I already had headers and a catback exhaust on it for about 2 months. the intake kit did help the milage. Performance wise, you can realy feel a difference in power from 45mph to about 75mph, better throttle response an more torque. all together its a great product especialy for the money!"

"After putting this intake on not only could i feel for power in the my take off but it works with my flowmaster to give me that deep bass sound. havent notice any mpg yet. prolly because ive been hauling ass ever where. Overall good product."

"The installation was pretty simple. Took about an hour with basic hand tools and may be easier on some vehicles (I had to trim the fan shroud on mine). The difference was what I expected...not overwhelming but noticable and definately improved gas milage. The competition charges more and given the fit and finish it is a great value. I would recommend if you are in the market to buy this item."

"I can't say that it dramatically changed things but it did get rid of the turbo lag. Highway cruising seems to be a little less laboring on the motor too. As far as more power, I didn't really notice any change. Thought I would when pulling boat but can't tell. The holes for the clear lid didn't line up with the holes in the air box. Added a Airaid "throttle body spacer". Seem to help slightly. Do you have to reset the chip after changing components like this? Might have something to do with it too. Overall it looks good, Fairly easy to install . Would probably try a more proven intake next time though."

"I NOTICED A DISINCTIVE INCREASE IN POWER. I PULL A TRAILER MOST OF THE TIME AND THE POWER IS THERE BUT FUEL MILEAGE HAS NOT BEEN NOTICED YET. THE EASE OF INSTALLATION WAS GREAT. THE COSMETICS ARE ALSO GOOD. I HAVE ALSO ADDED A GOOD EXHAUST AND I THINK THAT THE TWO COMBINED HAVE HELPED THE TRUCK A LOT."

"This CAI system is awesome. Provides immediate feel of new torque and hp. You can hear the turbo whine from my 6.7 Cummins, which for me it's great!!! I have noticed 1-2 mpg increase in city and 3-4 on highway. Also, to see-through cover is attractive and functional. You can see when the filter needs cleaning. Great buy for my RAM 3500 MegaCab!!!"
