When it comes to unlocking your engine's explosive energy, timing is everything. Injen's Power-Flow Cold Air Intake is engineered to deliver a blast of oxygen at the perfect moment for blazing combustion and gut-wrenching power output.
While basic intakes merely force air down an engine's gullet, the Injen Power-Flow puts your motor on a steady diet of colder, richer oxygen. The process starts with the high-flow air filter's integrated Air Inducer, Air Stabilizer and Velocity Stack. Air is drawn in, smoothed out and pressurized.
From there, the oxygen flows through the Mega Ram-tuned pipe, where it gets released to the mass air flow senor at calculated intervals. Each kit goes through a rigorous dyno-testing process and fine-tuned to unleash ferocious performance across the RPM spectrum. Some vehicles come with a Power Box heat shield if needed.
Your Injen Power-Flow bolts on without any drilling for a simple at-home installation. Lifetime Warranty on tube and filter.
Thanks to the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act: US Code – Title 15, Chapter 50, Sections 2301-2312, your vehicle’s factory warranty is protected by law when you add aftermarket parts. Details

I really like the Injen Power-Flow that I installed on my 2012 Dodge Challenger. It looks great and it definitely improved throttle response. Looks like I am getting at 3 miles per gallon increase, so far. Not bad, but I expected a little more. That said, it should get my money back in about 3 1/2 months of driving. Recommend the system.

My injen cold air intake sounds amazing along with my dual magnaflow axel back exhaust. It really makes the car rumble. I've noticed quicker throttle response along with more torque when u punch it. It looks awesome and sounds great. Deffinatly worth the money

I ordered it for mpg gain. It helped about 1/2 mpg around the area with short drives. I'm looking forward to a trip. With the Power Wagon gearing I think the gain was pretty good. Love the 4-barrel sound, find it's hard to keep the foot out of it.

This is the second cold air intake system I purchased but the first of this brand(Injen).I thought it would be an upgrade from the AEM intake I previously bought but it has been a downgrade in performance, appearance and engine rumble during acceleration. If I had the opportunity to redo I would save money while gaining performance and go with the AEM Bruteforce system,no doubt.

what is the best cai for my nissan 2010 4.0 frontier im looking for improved mpg as my truck has plenty of pep

Hi Tommy, The highest gains are going to come from a CAI with a nylon tube, as the material insulates the incoming air charge better and the bends are smoother than any metal intake tube out there. Check this CARB certified system out: http://www.autoanything.com/air-filters/61A2114A0A0.aspx

Will I need a programmer if I change out my cold air intake?
Answered by Elizabeth C. — Jul 03, 2012 4:48 PM
Hello. Your cold air intake will not require the use of a programmer. However, an engine trouble code could pop up under different circumstances depending on other modifications you’ve made to the truck. If you order for the correct year/make/model, you will not see a problem.

Injen Power-Flow Cold Air Intake System - Technical question on Noise level difference from Stock within Cab of Ford 6.0L Diesel Truck? I don’t want it to be annoyingly loud.
Answered by Elizabeth C. — Jun 29, 2012 4:02 PM
Hello. The Injen will be a little louder than the stock instake system. That's because it is taking in a much larger volume of air. You'll really notice the difference at higher rpms, but at that level, all the other noises tend to cancel out the intake growl. So, not at all annoying! We sell hundreds of intakes a day and we rarely if ever see a customer complain about noise.

It's for a 2001 Chevy Tahoe 5.3 V8. I noticed it said it's not CARB exempt. I live in Las Vegas, NV. Would this CAI prevent me from passing a smog test?
Answered by Elizabeth C. — Jun 07, 2012 12:07 PM
Hello. Yes, if the product is not CARB-exempt then it will not pass the visual part of the smog check. Thank you.

I currently have a K&N cold air intake and I hate it! More often than not during aggresive acceleraion I experience sputtering and power loss due to what I believe to be a lack of fuel to the amount of air being drawn. I want to be assured that this will not be a side effect of the Injen Power-Flow cold air intake system. Also, have you ever heard of this problem with the K&N intake??

I'm not sure if my truck has a mass airflow sensor? How do I know and where is it
Answered by Nathan S. — May 21, 2012 1:54 PM
It will be a sensor usually plugged into the air intake tube, just after the air filter.
