Installed on a 2006 BMW X5 (e53) 4.8iS, very straightforward instructions, minimal tools need (10mm socket), half hour install time. Definitely smoothed out idol, and acceleration, mpg improvement!

Very easy to install, good quality and definitely got 1&1/2 to 2 mi. per gallon more. None of that loud whistle noise either.

I had previously read that the instructions provided were terrible...and they sucked but its way to easy to install so you really dont need them. The spacer looks cool and like all other afe products the quality is there, my only complaint is the gasket, the diameter of the inner cut is to small it interferes with what the spacer is suppose to do. After shaving some gasket off; the piece just bolts on and despite everyone arguing that it does nothing I noticed better acceleration and 1 mpg
