"I would recommend the Spectre kit, it would be hard to beat for the price -just be sure to allow some extra time for the assembly of the shield box and the installation should go well.
Performance seems to be improved and it sounds good when you punch it."

"the install of my intake did not go as smoothly as i would have liked, i did not receive one of the clamps that was supposed to come in my kit, thus a had to slightly improvise the installation process, overall i like the product, i noticed an increas of about 3-4 mpg on the highway (adds up quickly) the look of the intake under the hood is also very pleasing to the eye. for the money an overall great buy"

"Instructions were easy to follow, Everything fit perfectly except I had to purchase the hose from the PCV valve... Wasnt a big deal or expense.... I would definitely recommend this product"

"great sound and does help 3-6mpg on the hiways when I settle down. My only issue was the instalation--not everything fit perfectly and needed a bit of modification but was nothing technical at all."

"I HAVE YET TO INSTALL THE INTAKE DUE TO IT TAKING OVER THREE WEEKS TO BE DELIVERED. ITEM WAS ORDERED ON THE 12TH OF THE PREVIOUS MONTH AND DID NOT ARRIVE UNTIL THE 5TH OF THE FOLLOWING MONTH. WILL UPDATE ONCE INSTALLED."

"The cold air intake has lived up to the hype. The heat shield that came wasn't right, but it only took one phone call for them to ship out the right one. My truck defintitely has more get up an GO. Better throttle response and I got about 1 mpg gallon improvement my first tank (that was with me getting on the throttle a whole lot more than usual). When I start to baby it again I hope to get more. Great buy for the money. Recommend for anyone looking for some power that doesn't want to spend an arm and a leg."

Spectre Cold Air Intake Dodge Ram 1500 Daytona

"The install was real easy. The only sticking points were getting the IAT Sensor installed in the intake itself, and a rather large gap where the intake tube ran through the heat shield. I shaved down the sensor a bit, and for the heat shield I took an old sign (magnetic that sticks on your car door) and cut it to fit. Other than that, mileage looks a little better and it sounds great."
