AIRMAX ON '07 TAHOE 5.4L

"Once the filter charger kit is in place there is a noticeable increase in engine noise. I have not noticed significant fuel mileage gains yet but have only had it installed for a week. It seems to have given a boost in torque and hp. Not huge mind you but noticeable. The unit is designed VERY well and is secure once mounted. Color is pretty sweet under the hood. My only complaint comes from the installation. If you pay the price I did for a unit like this one would expect new parts for the entire kit. Street & Performance wants you to pirate the stock rubber collar throttle body flange from the stock plenum and re-use it on the new plenum. Mine was partially fused to the plastic and once re-installed on the new plenum slipped off easily casing my rig to stall while driving. My remedy was to screw 7 screws in around the collar to hold it in place on the plenum before remounting it to the throttle body. This kit desperately needs to have a new flange included for the price they charge."
