The Intake i received with the RBP black badge for my RBP 1 piece mesh grille with Rivets and arrived on time for delivery. The RBP cold air intake i can't tell much difference in gas mileage but the reason i bought it was the great look and the performance gain. The gain isn't mind blowing but can tell throttle response and acceleration is better. the installation took me longer than expected since i never installed one but was fairly easy. I think anyone that's wanting the best cold air intake for performance and looks should get this! Also i bought a hypertech max energy programmer and the truck improved even more gains! All in all get you a RBP cold air intake and thanks autoanything.

I USUALLY USE K&N BUT DECIDED TO TRY RBP OUT FOR A CHANGE. AND I HAVE TO SAY THIS INTAKE SYSTEM BEATS K&N SYSTEMS ANYDAY. I PUT IT ON MY 2010 F150 FX4 AND IT SOUNDS SICK. I CAN TELL A GREAT DIFFERENCE IN HP AND TORQUE. I HAVE ONLY HAD IT ON A WEEK AND SO FAR IT SEEMS AS IF IM GETTING A LITTLE BETTER GAS AND I THINK IT WILL GO UP TO SAVING ME ABOUT 2MPG. OVERALL I LOVE THIS SYSTEM AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYBODY.

I really want the RBP, but I'm not sure about CARB, what does it mean and who does it affect.

Parts that are not “CARB exempt” (California Air Resources Board) may violate emission control system anti-tampering laws, and may not be legal for highway use in certain states. To find out if you are affected, check out the list of states at this link.
