This looks great and adds a nice boost to performance, i believe than it will pay for itself in gas and filter replacement savings in 2 years, installing was simple but some fits were tight, the filter on the tube was really tight, i hope it loosens up else i will have to remove the entire pipe to clean the filter. Also the MAF sensor was tight, i recommend filing to make it fit better because it could be damaged by forcing it in, i slammed it in pretty hard twice but luckily didnt damage it

The BBK CAI does not fit on my 2009 hemi Charger worth a crap. It doesn't line up to the intake so I have it cockeyed just to get it on. The heat shield doesn't seat down in the hole that it is supposed to and the air filter doesn't want fit at the proper angle with the cut out hole in the heat shield. Overall it is a terrible fit. I would not recommend BBK FOR ANYONE WITH A MOPAR. They may fit like a glove for someone with a Ford, but not for us Mopar guys. They even sent the wrong size hose.

The BBK Cold Air Intake I ordered from AutoAnything arrived within a few days. Installation was simple, with easy to follow directions and simple hand tools. 45 minutes to install. Noticed small increase in power, but have not been able to assess effect on gas mileage as yet. Check engine light went on. Checked with Auto Zone tech, who advised me to disconnect the battery again, and then to step on the brake to drain all electrical power to computer so that it could reset. So far, so good.

Amazing appearance and very easy installation of actual cold air. However connecting the breather hoses to it was a bare. Maybe its an isolated incident but very much worth the money! Good luck.

I have used cold air intake systems on other vehicles with great success for both power and effciency. The BBK system is extremely well made. With a gulp of air, the Mustang 3.7 V6 really starts showing its horsepower. The only criticism I have of the BBK kit was the printed instructions. The pictures are so dark that the paper is a crime against trees. BBK does offer great instructions online with video and PDF. They could put something better in the box.

I have a brand new 2013 mustang 3.7l. Would the warranty be voided if i install this CAI? Thanks

Hi, According to the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty of your vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part was the cause or contributed to the failure of the vehicle (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)). It’s always best to work with a performance-oriented dealership, but no matter who you choose, you’re protected by the law.

Will the bbk cold air intake fit in the 2011 3.6l v6 challenger because I don't see it under the submodel?
Answered by Nathan S. — Feb 18, 2013 9:41 AM
Hi, Unfortunately, the 3.6L BBK isn't offered at the moment but there is a good alternative. A K&N 63 series intake will fit perfectly and will built a bit more power thanks to the insulating abilities of the composite tube.

is it fit with 90mm bbk trottle body??? and what model of flash programmer do i need + i have a 2012 gt 5.0L, with automatiqc transmission, and i whant upgrade the torque vonverter to go on the track gaetan
Answered by Nathan S. — Feb 01, 2013 12:45 PM
Hi, The BBK Power-Plus Cold Air Intake System will fit your 90mm throttle body and will work out of the box, but will work better with a tune. Choosing the right programmer comes down to the features and display that you want. No matter which programmer you choose though, you will need to download a custom tune to factor in the converter change and to maximize the power from your parts combination.

Can i run the (BBK-)CAI with the (BBK)-Throttle body, using a MAFS made by (Jet Power)? Will all these parts work together and give me the power, torque, better MPG, and be able to see and feel the drifference, in performance. gonna use, a performance exhaust system, gonna replace all plugs, wires, and injectors. tell me whatcha thing about this combination of drifferent parts, under one hood.
Answered by Nathan S. — Apr 25, 2012 11:39 AM 2001 Chevy Silverado
You can use the listed parts together and will certainly see a gain in performance and mpg. Please keep in mind that performance bolt-ons will not give you cumulative gains when added up, so your 20hp cold air intake plus 10hp throttle body may only yield a 22hp gain due to airflow changes unforseen by the product manufacturers. A reasonable expectaction for gains on a gasoline engine with basic bolt-ons is 25-35hp.
