It looks great and the performance is good not not much when you take off but when you need to pass a car you can feel the power. Unfortunately installing this was bad. The design doesn't fit and ran into all my wires and AC lines.

Auto Anything limits your review, so I only include my summary. If all Volant instructions are like mine are, you may need an imagination, an interpreter, and someone skilled at figuring thing out,due to the unmentioned procedures.Volant,in my experienced opinion, makes the best,or is among the best, aftermarket COOL AIR INTAKE SYSTEMS on the market. Their installations are its down fall.Volant needs to learn how to convey instructions to the"common man"and include all step from A to Z.

Installed CAI, directions were challenging, but parts were self explanitory. had to move the retractable utility light and had to slightly move the aluminum condensor line, but it fits. niticable horsepower. 94' chevy 1500

The instructions assumed I'd know what each part on my truck was called; i.e., "resonator". But we overcame that by trial and error. Though I'm happy and pleased to have gotten it installed, I'm a little concerned about the actual filter placement. To put the filter into the cold air canister requires bending the filter. To put the clamp on the filter...forget about it! Thanks for the beautiful product and I can't wait to show it off.

Fast delivery, excellent price from AutoAnything! Overall quality of this air intake was excellent. There was alot of tweaking to get everything to fit properly. I had to remove my underhood retractable light from the inner fender to get the airbox to fit properly. The threaded rod to hold the air duct in place had to be bent to achieve proper alignment of the airduct. The gasket supplied for the TBI did not fit and had to be trimmed to work. The duct to airbox interface needed several attempts to get enough airduct in the airbox to allow the filter to fit properly. Kit included 2 strips of gasket seal for the airbox, neither were long enough to make it completely around the 6" hole. Finally I had to bend a bracket that was attached to my manifold to allow clearance between the airduct and my electrical harness plug/connection. All in all not bad, looks great, no performance numbers yet to pass along.

Overall, a pretty good air intake. Installation instructions did not help at all but luckly it isn't too hard to figure out how everything goes together. Can't really tell a difference in sound but can tell a definate difference in throttle responce. Yet to figure out any mpg difference.
