Installation was not very difficult. It used the stock rubber bushings found beneath the stock airbox. It took a little bit of adjusting to get the cone filter and tubing to get right where I wanted them at. the stock rubber oval liner from the fender was a perfect fit into the Volant enclosed box. My first impressions were "wow my truck can really breath now." I noticed a much faster response in building boost and have an increase in overall performance. Five stars and extremely impressed!!!

cold air intake was my most recent upgrade (already accomplished AirDod, FluidAmpr, SuperChips , 4" mandrel exhaust) last add was the cool air intake , i looked hard before choosing the Volant ( it came down to the Volant or the Banks ) i really liked the 2nd air inlet opening on the Volant . delivery was timely , included all parts . took my time install'g and it took about 1 hr. engine bay a lil louder , hear turbo more , breaths good, more power, highway cruising effortless

This was easy to install... I can tell that my turbo spools up quicker and rpms go over 2K quicker with the same throttle I'm used to. I expect I will be getting better mileage. It looks good and sounds good. Only one little problem: I had thrown away the stock air cleaner box, so I don't have the grommets I am supposed to re-use, or the plastic intake gizmo that connects the box to the fender inlet. I wish they had included those things or noted that they didn't come with the new unit. I'm trying to improvise.

Very easy to install, maybe 45 minutes tops. Now I can really hear the whine of the turbo, not sure on the mpg yet. Looks great and sounds wonderful, what more can you want?

I found the installation a bit tough trying to get the air filter element inside the box. It was a very tight squeeze and it took me about 30 minutes to finally work it in. Instructions could have been a bit better.

Installing a Volant intake was the first upgrade from stock on my 5.9 Cummins. There was a noticable power increase throughout the RPM range, and a 1-2 MPG increase on average under normal driving conditions with light traffic.

The Volant air intake system has worked well above my expectations. I installed it just prior to towing my camper some 150 miles, WOW what a difference.
