I got this as a gift for my girlfriends Nissan Titan. My main attraction to it is the Donaldson Power Core filter. I wanted far better quality filtration than K&N yet more flow than stock. Removal of factory parts was fairly simple, but the instructions are very vague and this particular truck wasn't even listed on the model application sheet. Fitment going back and some of the details there were some issues I would not have expected for the cost of this kit.

Installation instructions were a little vague but some common sense make install fairly simple. Took about 1 hour total to put on. Sounds good!

I have had my CAI installed for a couple of weeks now, it has a nice throaty sound at 2,000-3,00 rpms. I have kept track of my fuel mileage and have increased by just over a half a gallon per mile.

Great product! It was a little difficult to install the big clamp for the filter and the tube to joint to one another, everything else was a breeze. Looks great, I can also feel and hear my engine roar louder. Thank you Autoanything! Great product, I recommend it to anyone :-)

I am very happy overall with my investment. The CAI is barely noticeable at lower speeds but the minute you jump on the throttle it unleashes the BEAST within !

Installed the Volant Cold Air Intake in my '06 Titan. It looks and performs great, I could definitely feel a difference when I got on the gas at freeway speeds. Install instructions werent very specific and install took a little loger than whats stated but overall definitely pleased with my purchase.

2006 Titan. The main air inlet into the box does not line up with the fender opening. It's not far off, but noticeable. The MAF sensor seat on the intake tube should be keyed/contoured to fit the sensor. As I have not seen other year Titans, it might be the other years are not keyed. Which might account for using a very thick gasket. I do like the looks of the whole unit and have noticed a lighter gas pedal is required to accelerate normally. This may result in better gas mileage, but I have not run through a tank yet.

Just installed the volant power core intake on my 05 titan. Installation was alright but the instructions weren't as clear as they should be. I left out the rubber gasket on the filter side and the rubber bumper under the box. (Easier to install w/out unnecessary materials) After the install I can't complain at all. There is a little purr under normal driving conditions but when the throttle is opened up the engine ROARS! Very impressed. Haven't calculated mileage difference but anything helps.
