Pros - Install was straight up. Once installed the Pathfinder shifted better, aggressive sound, and it averaged about 50 more miles per tank of gas. There is more power in the lower RPM's so it's a lot easier to accelerate. Autoanything.com had the best price. I bought my Volant with the powercore filter and looking forward to the 100k life span of the filter. Cons - Couldn't install all the bolts in the filter box because all the holes did not line up. It also didn't come with a ram scoop like I was expecting. Looked at why and the oil cooler is located in front where the ram scoop would be. Would still like them to install at my desecration.

Be prepared to drill some extra holes and remount your horn to install this intake. The intake comes with holes cut very roughly for mounting it in the Xterra. Two of mine were about half an inch off where they were supposed to be. It comes with no instructions - they just throw in a parts list. The install isn't too bad once you see where the issues are, but it's still a tad too much work just to install an intake. Apart from that, this is a great unit. Don't expect much power from just an intake, but it makes a definite noise increase. Excellent when paired with an exhaust system! I can see it lasting me a long time. Overall a great purchase.
