To many issues with vendor and install. Purchased the product almost took a week to get the instructions are not very good and difficult to follow. Was not aware that both sensors on current intake system would no longer be used. Installed the unit per manufacture did not fit and could not mount to frame of truck. The intake performed well but could not use, and have had a nightmare trying to return. PROBLEMS all the way around. Could be that my truck was an older model, but would not do it.

We installed the Airaid system in about 25 minutes to a 4.2 V6! It added a nice sound, trottle responsiveness and a very nice look to the engine. The Airaid system looks and feels solid and the price was right!

I PUT AN AIRAID COLD AIR INTAKE ON MY 02 FORD F150 4.2L V6 W/A STANDARD TRANS. IT HAS 106,300 MILES. I PUT IT ON IN ABOUT 40 MIN. INSTRUCTIONS WERE A LITTLE VAGUE. I NOTICED IMPROVED THROTTLE RESPONSE, ESPECIALLY IN 2-4. MY MPG WENT FROM 17.2 TO 19.1, BUT THAT IS ONLY ON ONE TANK, HOPEFULLY THAT WILL CONTINUE. OVERALL I AM SATISFIED WITH THE PRODUCT, AND WOULD RECOMEND IT TO OTHERS, ESPECIALLY ON CARS THAT ARE A FEW YEARS OLD AND HAVE SOME MILES ON THEM.
