I was skeptical about this increasing the HP of my FJ, so I installed it, ran it for a few hindred miles then re-installed the stock air intake. I could definately tell a difference both ways - this air intake does increase HP!! It's back on and staying there.

I have had other brands of cold air intakes before and have always been satisfied with the performance and install. The Airaid intake system is the first one that had directions that were easy to follow, but also had pictures large enough to see detail. It intalled exactly as designed with no modifications or struggle. The horsepower added is obvious and it sounds great with my exaust. I would recommend this product to anyone considering an intake system.

i took my time...say about an hour for the install as soon as i got it.... noticeable improvement in throttle response. I took it around the block and i heard my rear tire chirp for the first time with the exact amount of pedal pressure. i wore a smile on my face for the rest of the evening of course.
