A little more sound when accelerating, but not obnoxious like K&N's I've had in the past. You can talk over it easily. Small gain in power and mpg, not as much as K&N but a good compromise considering the cabin noise isn't annoying. Easy to install, even with a throttle body spacer.

It's still early, but I seem to be getting better mileage after the install, about 1 to almost 2 MPG. I don't know why Ford went through the trouble to not make the stock one basic like this, the difference in sound was minimal.

Got the intake installed, but one thing u need to do is disconnect both terminals on battery, 30 min. This will help reset ur truck. my truck currently averages 16.5 with the a/c on high!! :-) 6" lift 34/12/20 nitto Mt's.... Kit took 13 min to install. didn't really look at instructions till after install.
