The overall product works well. The installation was a little of a nuisance due to it not being exact, the plastic needed a little flexing during install and was accomplished by having a second person. It does give a better sound but it's not too loud. Overall the product is great, just a little pricey.

Aggressive noise when you get on it, install was easy. I'd go with this option and save $100 compared to K&N. I've done plenty of research and this setup made the same gains as Volant and K&N on the dyno. Box came destroyed I suggest they tape the box better. Luckily nothing was missing when it showed up... I think.

Works good and easy to install. The coupler from the throttle body to the intake could be slightly longer. Works better when added with a cat back exhaust. Gives the the engine a slightly louder sound. This is the second kit I have used on a truck and recommend it.

The install was easy, the motor does sound stronger on half and on full throttle. I got the Jr kit because I felt that Chevy already had a great box and it is a tightly sealed air box. Also the jr kit tube in the inside is super smooth.

Easily installed, but I won't know for a while of any performance enhancements. Looks good and small so to not look like too much in the engine compartment.

I have had the airaid jr. on my 2014 Silverado LT 5.3 rear wheel drive for 2 weeks now and I love it. I could tell a difference immediately in both sound and performance. I have added a Flowmaster cat-back American Thunder exhaust and a Diablosport Intune2 and its not even the same truck, much improved over stock. The Airaid was super easy to install and I like that you use the stock airbox after much research it is best to use the stock airbox on the 2014 and 2015 GM Trucks. Thanks TJ H.

So, I toyed with getting one of these CAI kits for years, with my current truck and previous one. All the hype by some that say they add power, and others who say they do nothing. Initially I just had a higher flowing re-usable filter (K&N)in my trucks. Didn't see anything there. After reading BBP's review of CAI on a 5.3 and showing and out-performed other kits, I thought I would give it a try. LOVE IT. Great sound and increase in Throttle response. Great for towing!
