Excellent price, easy to install. Noticed instant boost with acceleration * spinning tires from a stand still after install. Before install there was a little hesitation (I have 5.3 v 4/8)after installing no hesitation. Engine little louder as well. I had a Flow-master 40 series muffler installed and removed resonator. The Airaid no doubt increased the sound and power with those additions. with combination of AIRAID and Flow-Master, the two set my corvette alarm off....

Once the truck ran for a while and went through the whole 'learning mileage,' it seems to have more response when you get into the throttle. The engine noise also got a little louder due to replace the factory tube and it made it sound more like a V8 inside the cab and not a Prius when you get into the throttle.

A solid and simple upgrade to your air intake that avoids the overpriced full CAI or Short Ram set ups. The factory air box is solid and does the job with a KN filter in it.

Ordered this instead of a full on air intake system in favor of the lesser cost and difference of opinions on whether or not they actually do anything. It arrived on time and in good condition. The install was very quick, about 15 minutes, and very easy. Put this on in conjunction with a throttle body spacer. Between the two it is hard to say that they do anything different. But I will say-without any hard data-it does feel like there is better low end response and torque.

I had custom straight pipe dual exhaust put on my truck so I lost some low-end torque. So I bought the MIT and I gained my low-end torque back plus some. My truck doesn't have to shift to a lower gear to get up hills and accelerate. I also gained some fuel economy. Overall easy to install great quality I'm happy with the purchase.

This intake tube was easy to install and makes the truck sound alot better on the throttle, it also looks alot better under the hood then the factory intake tube, overall a great product I paired mine up with a K&N factory replacement air filter
