Airaid PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer Part #200-617 Customer Reviews
Reviewed by Douglas S (Bel Air, MD) Reviewed for a 2011 Chevy Silverado — Sep 01, 2016 6:25 AM
Spacer was easy to install (about 20 minutes). I do notice a bit more pep when accelerating from a stop. I do not detect any "whistle" when accelerating. I'm still evaluating if my MPG's have increased. I almost did not purchase because I think the price is a little steep for a piece of machined aluminum.

Took maybe 20 minutes to install, went on no problem. I could tell a lil difference on the low end of the throttle and I could tell that it helped the truck breath and pick up better. Overall great product from air raid.

I was honestly just looking for something to tinker around on for my truck. The whole whistle deal honestly sounds like a small boost leak and I can't really hear it over my MagnaFlow catback or my CAI. I've got my truck tuned on the Diablo 93 canned tune as well, it FEELS like the vehicle may pick up a little bit quicker with this TBS added. However, that may be my mind getting the best of me, paying over $100 for a chunk of aluminum that was dinged up.

Whole different product once I received it. Seems to be a after market item. I've noticed zero performance increase and zero fuel economy increase. Basically a cool looking red alloy thingy that doesn't appear to do anything. Serious waste of dollars.

This was a good install for my truck, it was the last in the parts to bolt on. The part arrived at the house very quick and the build took no time at all since I already have a cold air intake. Not that it's a big deal but the spacer had no advertised PowerAid emblem painted on to it. Besides the appearance without the emblem there were no issues at all.
